Know all men by these prsents That I Richard Tomlin Midshipman of theire Majestyes Ship Restoration have and by these prsents doe make ordaine and constitute my welbeloved wife Margarett Tomlin my true and Lawfull Attorney &c.
And I the said Richard Tomlin considering the uncertainty of this transitory life doe make and declare these prsents to containe my last will and Testament, That is to say

I give and bequeath unto the said Margarett Tomlin my beloved wife all and Singuler such wages, sume and sumes of money as Lands Tenements goods, chattells and estate w[ha]tsover wherewith att the tyme of my Decease I shall be possessed or interested or which shall then belong or of right appertaine unto me

And I doe hereby nominate and appoint my wife Margarett Tomlin my sole Executrix of this my last will
and doe revoke all former wills and deeds of guift by me at any tyme heretofore made and doe ordaine these prsents to stand and be for and as my onely last will & Testament

In Wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the five and twentieth day of August Anno Dini 1690 and in the second yeare of theire Majestyes Raigne William and Mary by the grace of God of England Scottland &c. King & Queen

Probatum fuit: (in Latin) 29th October 1692, administration to Johane Stockar ?
The executrix & widow Margaret Tomlin now deceased, her executors were Johannis Pearse and Anne Stapleford.

Notes:
Richard Tomblin was buried on 18th July 1692 at St. Leonard, Deal, Kent.
The will of his widow was probated the same day as his.
Richard Tomlin married Margaret Tribbet at Ringwould 19 May 1690.
