In the name of God Amen, the Six and Twentith day of September in the year of our Lord god one thousand six hundred and thirty
I Phillis Tonge of Bredgar in the county of Kent widdowe the relict wife of John Tonge late of Bredgar aforesaid deceased being sick of boddie but of good and perfect memorie (thancks bee unto god) doe make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following; That is to say First I commend my soule into the hands of God my maker, hopinge assuredly through the only merits of Jesus Christ my Saviour to bee made partaker of lyfe everlastinge, And I commend my boddie to the earth whereof it was made, and to bee buried at the discrection of my Executor hereafter named, And I give unto Mr John Lanes whome I require to preach at my burial, twenty shillings, to bee paid unto hym by my executor within one Moneth after my decease,

Item I give and bequeath unto Ann Tonge one of the daughters of William Tonge my late deceased sonne, my new kersey peticoate to bee delivered to her by my executor immediately after my decease

Item I give and bequeath unto Katerine Tonge my daughter wife of the said William my best kirtle to bee delivered unto her likewise by my Executor immediately after my decease

Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth one other of the daughters of the said William my little joyne box

And unto Martha another of the daughters of the said William one of my new Aprons at the election of my Executor to be delivered also unto them ymediately after my decease

Item I give and bequeath unto Katerine Tonge one other of the daughters of the said William Tonge two of my best aprons to bee delivered unto her like wyse by my executor ymediately after my decease

The residue of all other my goods Cattells & Chatelles whatsoever my dettes legacies & funeral Expenses beinge discharged I give and bequeath unto James Tonge my sonne whome I make sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament
And I doe hereby revoake and Annull all former wills
