I Daniel Town of East Malling in the County of Kent Farmer being weak in body but of Sound disposing Mind and Memory do hereby make my last Will and Testament in manner and Form following Viz Imprimis I commit my Soul to God my Creator in hopes of a Joyfull Resurrection to life eternal through the Merits and Satisfaction of my Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ and my body I leave to my Executors hereinafter to be mentioned to be buried in the most frugal manner and as for Worldly Goods I am possessed of after payment of all my just Debts the Charges of my Burial and the proving of this my last Will and Testament I give and bequeath as follows Viz

that all my Effects be divided into seventeen parts or Shares
two of which I give to my Son Daniel Town
and two to my Daughter Elizabeth Wife of Thomas Wray
and the other thirteen Shares to my Grandchildren by Name as follows Viz
Elizabeth Daughter of my late Son John
and Elizabeth Daniel Ann and Mary Children of my Son Daniel
and John Elizabeth Daniel Mary Sarah Thomas Ann and Susanna Children of my Daughter Elizabeth Wray aforesaid

And I hereby constitute and appoint Abraham Knell Farmer and John Goodhugh alias Goodhue Grocer Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other my Wills and Testament by me heretofore at any time made and I hereby will and give Power to my aforesaid Executors that whatever shall appear to be due to my Grandchildren that are under Age shall be laid out to their Advantage as they my Executors shall in their Discretion think Proper

In Witness whereof I the said Daniel Town have hereunto set my Mark this seventh Day of May 1766 The Mark of Daniel Town
