Item I give unto Mary Trice (and) Martha Trice my daughters and unto John and Jonas Trice my sonnes Tenn shillings a peece to be payd unto them at there severall ages of one and Twentie yeares
Item I give unto my youngest sonne Francis Trice Twentie pounds of good money to be paid unto him by my said Wife when he shall accomplishe the age of one and Twentie yeares And if so be it happen that my said sonne Francis die before he shall come to the age of one and Twentie yeares Then I will and my minde is that that Twentie pounds aforesaid shall be equally devyded between my daughter Martha my sonne(s) John and Jonas Trice
Concerninge the constitution of my land All my land I give unto my said Wife to doe withall at her pleasure
All the rest of my goods unbequeathed in this my last Will and Testament I give unto my
wife Susan whom I make sole Executrix as aforesaid of this my last will and Testament

(Manston) at St. Mary Breadman, Canterbury on 29th January 1598.
Francis Trice, s. of Francis, was christened at Monkton (not far from Manston) on 31st August 1617.
