In the name of God Amen the xviijth day of December in the yeare of our Lorde God A thowsand fyve hundreth foureskore and six [18 Dec 1586]
I Willym Turner of ye parrishe of Cosmos Bleane in the Countie of Kent, Husbandman, beinge sicke in my body but of good remembrance, God be praysed therefore, make my will as followeth, that is to say
First I will my soule to allmighty God, and my hope is to be saved by Jesus Christ, my Body to be buryed in Bleane Churcheyarde

Item I will to my sonne Robert Turner tenne poundes
Also I will to my sonne Richard Turner other tenne poundes
Also I will to my sonne Willm. Turner tenne poundes
and to my sonne John Turner tenne poundes;
in discharge of such debtes as I owe them

All the resydue of my goodes, corne, cattle, beastes and householde stuffe, I bequethe and give to my wyfe Thomasine Turner she payenge my debtes and legacies and she keeping and bringinge upp my two younger sonnes Jeames Turner and Henry Turner

Further my will is that my wife shall pay all my legacyes to my foure sonnes first named in this my last will and testamente within sixteene monethes after my decease
Also my will is foure sonnes Robert, Richard, Willyam and John to be one an others heires

Also I make Thomasine Turnor my executrix of this my last will and testamente, and that she shall keepe my foure sonnes untill the money be payde unto my said foure children as aforesayde
