whiche Johane and John Aysuk? I ordeyne and make my executours of this my p[re]sent testatment
This is the last will of me the said John Tylden by me p[er]sonally rehersed and declared the daie and yere abovesaid
First I wull that John Crompe, William Simmons; John Adene and John Southland my feoffe[s] Johane my Wif Immediately after my
decesse recyve and take the issues and p[ro]fitts of all my lands and ten[emen]ts with thapprtenns [the appurtenances] wtowte
[without] strepe [strip] and wast durying all the terme of her lif(e)
And after her decesse to remayne to Thom[a]s and James my sonnes to the[i]r heires and assignes for ev[e]r
Item I will that the said Johane do bestowe yerely for one obbert [obit] in the said churche of Bersted vjs viijd by the space of xxti [20] yeres And if the said Johane decesse before that the said yeres completed That then my foreseid feoffe with the p[ro]titts of my lands, cause the said obite to be kepte and done as is aforeseid
Item I will to the marriage of Johane and Agnes my dowght[er]s xvj marks sterlyng by even porcons And if one of them decesse before tyme of marae, her p[ar]te to Remayne to the Survivour
Item I will that the foresaid Johane my Wif shall paye to Thoms and James my sonnes as either of them come to thage [the age] of xxiiij yeres xiijs iiijd And [if] one of them decesse Before the said age or after, I will his portion shall remayne to the Survivour
Item I will my foreseid feoffe sell my pece of my land lying in the p[ar]ishe of Lyngborne [Longborne?] called Tridate come Litlecombe Ride and be made thereto adjoynnt? And if the seid money for the sale of the seid lands be not sufficient to contente & paie my detts and bequests and full accomplyshe and p[er]forme this my Last will & temenent [testament!] That then I will my seid feoffe to sell soche [such] lands And as muche as they shall thynk necessarye for the pformance of the same
Item I will that if my seid sonnes Thomas and James dye before they come to the seid age of xxiiij yeres and wtoute issue of any of ther
Bodies Lawfully begotten, that then the seid lands and ten'ts remayne to Johane and Agnes my doughtrs to their heires and assignes for ever;
paying to a preest to syng in the churche of Bersted aforeseid for my soule and all cristen soules by the space of half a yere v marks
and to the most necessarie rep[ar]ations of the seid churche v marks sterlyng
Item I will that if my seid doughters decesse withoute issue of any of their bod[ie]s Laufully begotten And my foreseid sonnes Thomas and
James before the said age and wtout issue as is beforeseid decesse; Then I will all my foreseid lands & ten'ts to be sold by my feoffe
And the money thereof recevied to be yn forme folowyng
