In the Name of God Amen This twentieth Day of November in the Fourteenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Forty
I Richard Underhill of Green Street Green in the Parish of Darenth in the County of Kent Butcher being infirm in Body but of a sound and disposing mind and memory (praised be God for the same) Do make publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in Writing in manner and form following
First I bequeath my soul into the hands of God and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor and Executrix herein after named And as for the disposition of that worldly estate which it hath pleased God to bless me with I dispose thereof as follows

First I do order will and direct that my Debts Legacys Funeral Expences and the Charges of the probate of this my Will be first paid and satisfied and discharged
Also I give and bequeath unto Jane Cox of Shorne the Wife of John Cox Husbandman the Sum of One Pound and one shilling
Also I give and bequeath unto Richard Leppard of Sevenoaks the Sum of ten Shillings

Also I give and bequeath unto William Leppard of Blechingley in the County of Surrey the Sum of ten Shillings
Also I give and bequeath unto Richard Leppard the Elder the Sum of ten Shillings
Also I give and bequeath unto Edward Stephenson and John Stephenson Sons of Jane former Wife of Edward Stephenson late of Shorne deceased the Sum of ten Shillings a piece

Also I give and bequeath unto Edward Smallman Son of Edward Smallman of Northfleet Wheelwright the Sum of ten Shillings
Also I give and bequeath unto my loving Cousin William Halley of Gravel Lane London the Sum of Ten Shillings
Also my Will and mind is that the Legacies herein before given and bequeathed be paid to all and every the respective persons in twelve Months next after my decease

Also I give and bequeath unto Sarah the Wife of William Wolley of Green Street Green in the Parish of Darenth Cordwainer All my ready Money Securities for Money Stock Household Goods and all other my Personal Estate whatsoever

And I do hereby make constitute and appoint my loving Cousin William Wolley of Green Street Green in the Parish of Darenth aforesaid Cordwainer and Sarah His Wife to be Executor and Extrix of this my last Will and Testament
And I do hereby revoke and declare to be void all former Wills by me made
And I do appoint and declare this to be my last Will and Testament and no other contained in two Sheets of Paper

In Witness whereof I the said Richard Underhill the Testator to the first sheet thereof have set my hand and to this last sheet my hand and seal the Day and Year in the first Sheet above Written Richard Underhill
