This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Usborne of Staplehurst in the County of Kent Widow made and published this thirty first day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty six

I give and bequeath to my God Daughter Elizabeth Simmons now the Wife of Thomas Simmons of Staplehurst aforesaid Gentleman and to my Godson Chambers Usborne son of my Brother in Law John Usborne the Sum of one hundred pounds each of lawful Money of Great Britain

Also I give and Bequeath to Alexander Stainsby of Lincolns Inn London Esquire to the said John Usborne and his Children Elizabeth Usborne and Edward Usborne and Nicholas Jake Usborne of Staplehurst aforesaid Gentleman and his now Wife to Constantia Usborne Mary Usborne and Ann Usborne all of Staplehurst aforesaid Spinsters and to the Reverend Jacob Chapman of Staplehurst aforesaid and to each and every one of them the sum of twenty pounds of like Money for Mourning

Also I give and bequeath unto my Servants Matthew Bates, Joseph Cork, William Wood, Elizabeth How Widow and Susannah Payne the Sum of Five Pounds each of like Money for Mourning
All which said Legacies or Sums of Money I desire may be respectively paid by my Executors within three Months next after my decease

Also I give and bequeath to the Poor of the Parish of Staplehurst aforesaid the Sum of fifty Pounds of like Money to be distributed to them within six Months next after my decease at the discretion of my Executors

Also I give and bequeath to my said Servant Matthew Bates One Annuity or Yearly Sum of twenty pounds of like Money and to my said Servant Joseph Cork One Annuity or Yearly Sum of ten pounds of like Money to be paid to them to and for their respective natural lives by even and equal half Yearly payments the first payment thereof to be made within six Months next after my decease without any Deduction or Abatement to be made out of the same to be made upon any Account whatsoever
and I hereby charge and make liable the Sum of one thousand pounds new South Sea Annuities now standing in my Name with the Payment of the said Annuities and each of them

And all the rest and residue of my Goods Chattels Monies in the Publick Funds or on other Securities and all other my Personal Estates and Effects which I shall die possessed or which shall be due or belonging to me at the time of my decease and every part thereof I give and bequeath unto my Nephews Sir James Marriott Knight and the Reverend Pierce Dod Clerk and my Niece Elizabeth now the Wife of the said Alexander Stainsby equally between them share and share alike

and I do hereby make and appoint the said Sir James Marriott and Pierce Dod Executors of this my Will and do revoke all former Wills and declare this to be my last Will and Testament
