In the Name of God Amen I Nicholas Usher of the parish of Chart next Sutton Valence in the County of Kent husbandman being of sound & perfect mind & Memmory praised be god for the same Doe this Seventh day of Decem�r? in the yeare of our Lord god 1723 and in the tenth yeare of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George by the grace of god of greate Britton France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c. Make and ordaine this my Last will & Testament in Manner and Form following
First and principle I bequeath my Soul into the hands of God that gave it Trusting through the Meritts and Mediation of my Blessed Redeemer Jesus Christ to Receive Free pardon & forgiveness of all my Sinns
And my body To be Buryed in Christian Like Manner at the discretion of my Executrix here after named

Item I give & bequeath unto my Grandaughter Ann Groombridg my house at Lestage forge to her & her heires forever paying my wife Twenty Shillings a yeare out of it dureing her life

Item I give unto my Loveing wife Margery the rents Isues and profitts of my Two Dwellings under one Roofe in the Road leading from Mr Smiths to the Five Wents in Chart afores�d: dureing the time of her Naturall life
And afterwards to my sonn in law Charles Groombridg And his heires for ever.

Item all the rest of my goods cattle and Chattles what soever I give unto my Loveing wife after my Debts and Funerall Charges are paid & my desire is that what it shall please God my wife shall Leave behind her at her death may be given by her to my granDaughter Ann Groombridg

So Revoaking all other wills I do nominate and apoynt my Loveing wife Margery whole & Sole Executrix of this my Last Will & Testament
& do nominate and apoynt Danel Trigg the elder and John Scott to be Trustees to this my Last Will and Testament
I do here to sett my hand and Seale in the presents of
