In the Name of God Amen I John Valenduc of the Parish of Holy Cross Westgate near and without the Walls of Canterbury in the County of Kent Dyer being in Health of Body and of sound and perfect mind memory and understanding praised be God to make my last Will and Testament I do make and ordain the same in the manner and form following that is to say
First and Principally I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it hoping for Salvation through the alone merits and mediation of my dear and only Saviour Jesus Christ and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the Discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named and as to such Worldly Goods that pleased God to bless me with I give and dispose of the same in the manner following

First Imprimis my Will is that all my just Debts be fully paid and satisfied and after the payment thereof and of my Funeral Expences and the Charges of the Probate of this my Will
I give and bequeath to my loving Wife Susanna all my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate whatever until the Age of my two Daughters Susannah Valenduc and Judith Valenduc come to be twenty five years of Age

then my said Wife Susannah shall give unto my Daughter Susannah Valenduc One third part of all the Rest and Residue of my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate
Item I give unto my Daughter Judith Valenduc when she is twenty five Years of Age One third part of all my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate abovesaid
but if my Daughters should marry before they are twenty five Years of Age I leave it to my said Wife to pay them of her theirs or her part as she will find it more proper
and if in case it shall please God that my said Wife shall have any more Children then they shall share and Share alike with Susannah and Judith Valenduc hereabove mentioned

and I do make and appoint my said Wife Susannah Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and hereby revoking all former and other Will by me made I do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said John Valenduc have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and Seal the Second day of September in the thirteenth Year of the Reign of his present Majesty King George the Second over Great Britain and Anno Dom 1740 John Valenduc
