In the Name of God Amen I Joseph Vallance of Dartford in the County of Kent Chapman being indisposed in body but of sound and disposing mind and memory Doe make and ordain my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)
First and principally I surrender up my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator believing to be saved by and through the only merits and satisfaction of Jesus Christ my onely Saviour and Redeemer And my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently interred and buried by and at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named

Item all my ready money goods chattells and Personal Estate whatsoever my Debts and Funeral Expences being first paid and satisfied I give and bequeath unto my loving Friends Lewis Yonge Citizen and Draper of London and William Sandiland of Lewisham in the said County of Kent Chapman equally to be divided between them

And I doe make and ordain them the said Lewis Yonge and William Sandilands joynt Executors of this my last Will and Testament
And I doe hereby revoke and make void all former Wills by me made And doe ordain this to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Joseph Vallance have hereunto set my hand and Seal Dated the Eight and Twentieth day of November in the Fourth year of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord George by the grace of God King of Great Britain France and Ireland Defender of the Faith Annoq Dm 1717 Joseph Vallance
