In the name of God amen. the Twentith daye of November Annmo Domini 1606.
I Dennis Verriar of the towne and port of Sandwich in the Countie of Kent Widdowe being sick of bodye butt of good and perfect memorye and Remembrance (god be praised therfore) do make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following that is to saye
first I bequeath my soule to Almightie god my maker, hoping assuredly through the only merritts of Jhesus Christe my only savioure and Redeemer to be make partaker of his everlasting kingdom And my body to the earth, to be buried in the chruch yard of the parishe of St Clements in Sandwich aforesaid
And as touching the deisposinge of all the worldly goods which it hath pleased god to Lend mee in this world I do will and bequeath in manner and forme following.

first I do will ordaine and apointe that my executors hearunder named, shall att the feast of St Michaell the archangell next which shall be in the yeere of our Lord Christe 1607 call in take and Receave into theire handes all suche somes of money as to me in part is nowe due and then in all is to be due unto me and remayning in the handes of Peter Hawker and Bartholmew Kennett and Stephen Verriar that is to saye in Peter Hawkers hands Sixteene powndes and tenn shillings In the hands of Bartholmewe Kennett Sixteen powndes fower shillings and fower pence presently due. And in the hands of Stephen Verriar eleaven powndes.

And I do further will ordaine and apointe that my executors hearunder named shall within one moneth next after my decease, make sale of all and singuler my howshold stuff moveable goods Cattailes and Chattells what soever, to be solde to the uttermost value;
And as well the money therof to be made and coming, As also the said severall debts or somes of money Remayning in the hands of the said Peter Hawker Bartholmew Kennett and Stephen Verriar as above is mencioned, As alsoe the twenty pownds which I have nowe in ready money lying in my howse: shall be my myne executors hereunder named putt forthe uppon good securitie to the best profitt for my children.

Owte of such sommes I will thatt my said executors shall paye and allowe unto my sonnes John and Robert Verriar the severall somes of money to them willed and bequeathed by the last will and testament of theire father my late husband John Verriar deceased in suche manner and forme as by the said last will is Limitted and apointed.

And all the residue of the money together with the profitts thereof then made and Remaining (the charges and expences of my buriall and all my debts and legacies hearunder given being therowt deducted and paide, shall be and remaine to my said twoe sonnes John and Robert Verriar equally betweene them to be devided, to be paide unto them when they shall accomplish theire severall ages of twoe and twentie yeers.

And yf it happen any of the said sonnes to Marie before they do acomplish the age of twoe and twentie yeers and shall happen to dye before their acomplishment of the said age of xxij yeers and shall leave any children behind them, then my will is that such children as they shall so leave behind them shall share the porcione or sommes of money which (as well by this my will as by the will of thier father before mencioned) is willed and bequeathed to them

And yf if happen any of my said sonnes to dye unmaried and withowt yssue of thier bodies before they shall accomplish the said age of twoe and twenty yeers, then I will and bequeath his or theire porcione so dying shall be and remaine to the other of them surviving and to his heires
And yf they both do dye withowt heires then I will thatt all theire said porcions shall come and remayne to the next of bloud then living.

And I do ordaine and make executors of this my last will and testament my welbeloved freind Henry Mathews of Sandwich and John Verriar my sonn to which the said Henry Mathews I do will bequeath and give for his paynes to be taken in the execution of this my will the some of twenty shillings.
