I William Verrell of the Parish of Orpington in the County of Kent Woodmonger being of sound mind & memory but of an infirm state of health & considering the frailty & uncertainty of human life do make this my last Will & Testament

First my Will & desire is that all my just debts & Funeral expences should be paid & discharged as soon as conveniently may be after my interment
& then I bequeath to my niece Mary Churchill of Wilmington Widow of John Churchill of the same place Labourer the sum of Ten Pounds of good & lawful money
& to Mr William Bassett of Orpington Schoolmaster Two Pounds & two shillings
& to Mrs Sarah Aries Wife of William Aries Woodcutter of the same place one pound & one shilling
& to Mrs Mary Brookes Widow of Arthur Brookes now living at South End in the Parish of Lewisham one pound & one shilling

and after the above Legacies & my Just Debts & Funeral expences are paid & discharged I then give & bequeath the rest & residue of whatever I die possessed of to Mr John Weller of Masons Hill in the Parish of Bromley Kent my Kinsman
& whom I hereby constitute & appoint the sole Exor of this my last Will & Testament & to whose discretion I entrust the management & direction of my Funeral
