In the Name of God Amen this first day of February in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred Fiftie and sixe
I Christopher Viccars of Enesford in the County of Kent husbandman being sicke of bodie but (Thankes be unto Almightie God) of good and perfect memorie Doe make declare and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following First I bequeath my soule unto Almightie God that gave it and my bodie to buryall in the earth at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named

Next I doe give unto my beloved wife Susan the summe of five pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid unto her by my Executor within the space of three moneths next after the day of my buryall;

Also I do give and bequeath unto my sister Ellen Wells widdowe living in Dover lane within the Citie of Canterbury unto her three children to be equally divided betweene them and paid unto my said sister for their uses by my executor within the space of six moneths next after my decease;
All the rest of my estate in money goods or Chattells whatsoever (my executor onely deducting thereout paying and discharging my funerall expences and my debts)

Lastly I doe make constitute and ordaine my trustie and welbeloved friend Nicholas Knell of Beckner in the Countie of Kent aforesaid husbandman my full sole lawfull and absolute Executor of this my last will and testament desiring him in the feare of Almightie God to be carefull and diligent in the execution and discharge thereof

In witnesse whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale the day and yeare above written Christopher Viccars his marke Declared published subscribed and sealed in the presence of us
