This is the last Will and Testament of me James Vickers of Strood in the County of Kent Dredgerman being of sound and disposing Mind and understanding

In the first place I direct that all my Debts Funeral Expences and the charges of or attending the Execution of this my Will be by my Executor hereinafter named fully paid and satisfied
and after such full payment and satisfaction I give the rest and residue of my Estates and Effects of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever unto my Nephew Henry James Vickers Son of my Brother Henry Vickers and Sarah Grant of Strood aforesaid Widow to be equally divided between them share and share alike by my said Executor after it shall have been converted into Money

but in case my said Nephew shall happen to die before he shall attain the age of twenty one Years then I give the share before given to him unto his Mother to and for her own use

And Lastly I hereby Nominate and Appoint my Good Friend William Rowe of Milton near Gravesend Victualler Sole Executor of this my Will hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made I publish and declare this only to be my last Will and Testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Ninth day of March one thousand Eight hundred and one The Mark X of James Vickers
