In the name of God Amen The Fyfe day of Febrarij in the third yere of the Reigne of our Sovraigne Lord Edward the Sixt by the grace of God kyng of England, etc.
I Androwe Vissynden of the p[ar]yshe of Yalding w[i]thin the countye of Kent and in the dioc[es]e Rochest[er] being hole of mynd and p[er]fyte of Remembrance, do ordayn and make my Testament and last will in maner and forme following
Firste I bequeyth my soule to Almighty God my maker and Redemr [Redeemer] And my body to be buryed in the Churcheyard of Yalding afforesaid

Item I will that my Executrix undernamed shall Distribute Amonge the poutry dwelling wthin the said pyshe of Yalding wthin one yere after my decease, one Seame of Wheate baked in breade

Item I bequiyth unto my iiij doughters, that is to say: Alice, Margery, lnee and Alice the younger and to ev[e]ry of them at the day of her or their mariage a xiijs iiijd [13s 4d] the peace of them [apiece]
And if yt fortune any of my said doughters to dye before the day of mariage, That then my will is that their p[ar]te of her pte so beyng dede [being dead] to remayn to those then lyving

Item my will is that myn Executrix undernamed shall suffer Willm Vissynden and Androwe Vissynden my shuannits? to have the occupacyon of my Shop and all my Tooles belonging to myn Occupacyon For the space and terme of thre the next hole yeres after my Decease so that the said Willm and Androwe do leave all my Toylles [Tools] as good as they do fynde them

Item I bequeythe unto my Sonne Thomas Vissynden when he cometh to thage of xxtit yeres All my said Tooles of my Shoppe

The Resydewe of all my goods, my debts and legace first payed and fulfilled I gyve and bequeyth unto Helinor my wyf whome I do make my sole Executrix of this my p[rese]nt Testament & last will

Theis beyng present Robert Kenworth the younger, John Knatts, Roger Bygg, John Rose and others.

This is the last will of me the said Androwe Vissynden maid the day and yere above wrytten concernyng the disposition of All my lands & Ten[emen]ts sett, lying and beyng wthin the pyshe of Yalding or els where wthin the Countye of Kent

First I will that Elinor my wyf shall have and take upp all the p[ro]fytts of all my Ten'ts & lands Withall thappertenncs [the appurtenances] to her and her Assignes duryng all the terme of her naturall lyf towards the keping of my Childer and paying of all my debts and p[er]f[o]rmyng of my Testament Also keping All man[ne]r of Repacons [Reparations] of the said Ten't and payng yerely the Lords Rent thereof out of my lands ajoyng and duryng all her said lyf, nether to strepe nor to wast upon no p[ar]te of my said lands & Ten'nt nor no p[ar]cell yrof [thereof]

And after the Decease of the said Elinor my wyf I will that my said Ten't & all my lands wthall manr their appurtnnce shall remayne unto my sonne Thomas Vissynden and his heyres of his body laufullie begotten for ever
Condicionallye that he the said Thomas my sonne do pay or cause to be payd unto Jasper Vissynden & John Vissynden my sonnes or to heyres of their bodyes laufullie begotten a xiij li vjs viijd [£13 6s 8d] of good and laufull money of Englande to be payed w[i]thin tenne the next yeres after the deyth [death] of Helinor my wyf equally between them to be divided

And if yt fortune that eyther of my said two sonnes (that is to say Jasper or John) do dy without heyres of their bodyes laufullie begotten before the said tenne yeres be hollye expned after the deyth of my said wyf Then my will is that the said Jasper or John or t'heyres of their bodyes laufullie begotten shall have the said xiij li vjs viijd or any p[ar]te of p[ar]cell yof then beyng behynd unpayd to them and to their heyres for evr

Item my will is that if my son Thomas do refuse and do not pay or cause to be payed the said a xiij li vjs viijd in maner and Forme as aforesaid then my wyll is that my sonnes Jasper and John or eyther of them or t'heyres of their bodyes laufullie begotten shall Imedyatlie after the said tenne yeres once expned enter upon my Ten'te & lands w[i]thall manr their Appurten'ncs according to th'anncyant Custome of gavellkynd And that to hold to them and eyther of them and their heyres & assignes for evr more
