In the Name of God Amen I Sarah Vyvyan of the City of Rochester in the County of Kent being sick and Weak in Body but of a sound and disposing Mind Memory and understanding (Praised be God for the same)do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in writing in manner and form following (that is to say)

All and every my Freehold Leasehold and Copyhold Messuages Farms Lands and Estates whatsoever and wheresoever I Give devise and bequeath unto and to the Sole and only Proper use benefit and behoof of my Loving Brother William Alexander Cosens his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever

Also I Give and bequeath unto him my said Brother for and during his natural Life my Gold Watch and after his decease then I give and bequeath the same to Susannah Appleby of Grace Church Street London Widow her Executors or Admors

Also I Give unto Sophia Winifred Lutterback my Silver Milk Pail
Also I Give and bequeath all and every my Shifts (except one Dozen and an half of my best Shifts) and all and every my Aprons Hankerchiefs Ruffles Caps Washing Gounds and Petticoats (except my three run and cottoned Petticoats) and all my Old home spun Sheen and table Cloths and my Bombazeens Crape and Mourning of all sorts or kinds the Bed whereon I usually Lay with the Bedstead and Furniture thereto belonging also my Mother�s Picture and my own Picture and two Peices of Needle work in Frames unto my Maid Elizabeth Walker to and for her own Proper use and benefit

Also I will order and direct that all other my Wearing Apparel Household Goods Plate and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever (not herein before given or disposed of) may and shall be sold by my Executor and Executrix herein after named as soon after my Death as conveniently can be

and out of the money arising by such sale I Give and bequeath unto the said Elizabeth Walker the Sum of Ten Pounds
and all the rest and residue of such Money (from and after Payment of my Just Debts funeral Expences and the Charge of Proving this my Will) I Give and bequeath unto the said William Alexander Cosens his Executors Admors and Assigns

And I do hereby make Nominate and appoint my said Brother William Alexander Cosens and the said Elizabeth Walker joint Executor and Executrix of this my Will hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made do declare this only to be my Last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Sixteenth day of October in the Year of Our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy Sarah Vyvyan

In the Name of God Amen I Sarah Vyvyan of the City of Rochester in the County of Kent Widow do make and ordain this Present Writing to be a Codicil to my Last Will and Testament and desire the same be taken and deemed as part thereof (that is to say)

I Give and bequeath unto my Maid Elizabeth Walker (and besides what I have given her in my said Will) a new black Crape Gown to be bought by and out of the Money arising from the Sale of my Personal Estate as by my Will directed
And I Give unto her the Cabinet in the Parlour with all the pieces of Muslin Cloth Linnen and Silk therein and also all my Books my Jack and Weights my Sea Chest the round Tea Table the Fire Skreen and my blue silk Gown with the Petticoat

Also I Give and bequeath unto each of them the Reverend Charles Allen and John Sparks the Elder and John Sparks the younger a black Silk Scarf and Hatband

In Witness whereof I have to this Present Codicil set my hand and seal the Eleventh day of January one thousand seven hundred and seventy one Sarah Vyvyan
