This is the last Will and Testament of me John Waghorn of Griffin Street in the parish of Saint Paul Deptford in the County of Kent Victualler being weak in body but of sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding in manner and form following (that is to say)

first I desire that my just Debts Funeral and Testamentary Expences be fully paid and discharged as soon after my decease as may be by my Executor hereinafter named and subject thereto I Give and bequeath my property as follows

I Give Devise and bequeath all and singular my Freedhold and Leasehold Messuages Tenements Lands Heredits. [Hereditaments] and Premises whatsoever and wheresoever with the Appurts. [Appurtenances] thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining and all my Estates Terms and Interest therein respectively unto George Wheelhouse of Deptford Bridge in the Parish and County aforesaid Distiller his Heirs Executors and Adm'ors. To hold to the said George Wheelhouse his Heirs Executors and Admors. (Subject nevertheless to the Lease for fourteen years which I have agreed to Grant to Samuel Wiseman of the Messuage and Premises I now occupy and which I desire and empower the said George Wheelhouse to execute

Upon Trust that he the said George Wheelhouse or his Heirs Executors or Adm'ors. do and shall as soon as my Son John Waghorn shall attain his age of twenty one years by good and effectual ways and means in the Law Convey and assure the said Messuages or Tenements Lands Heredits. and Premises unto my said Son John Waghorn his Executors Admors. and assigns To the use of my said Son John Waghorn his Heirs Executors Admors. and Assigns according to the nature of the second Estates and Interests therein respectively and for all my Estate Term and Interest therein respectively

And I do Give the same to my said Son John in that event accordingly (subject nevertheless to the said intended Lease to the said Samuel Wiseman so as aforesaid agreed to be granted of the Messuage and Premises in my own occupation) and also subject to the payment of the sum of One Hundred and Fifty pounds thereout at the expiration of the said intended Lease unto
my three Daughters Grace the Wife of Thomas Comiss? of Union Street, Deptford Shipwright; Ann Maria and Harriet Waghorn
or such of them as shall be living at the time of the expiration of the said intended Lease in equal shares if more than one and if but one of my said daughters shall be then living then to such only surviving daughter
And I do hereby charge and make liable all my said Messuages or Tenements Lands Heredits. and Premises to the said Sum of one hundred and Fifty pounds accordingly

Provided always that in case my said Son shall depart this life before he shall have attained the age of twenty one years then it is my Will and I hereby declare that he the said George Wheelhouse his Heirs Executors and Admors. shall stand seised and possessed of all my said Messuages Tenements Lands Heredits. and Premises

Upon Trust for my said tree daughters or such of them as shall be living at the time of the death of my said Son and their or her Heirs Executors Admors. and Assigns according to the natures of the several Estates and Interest therein respectively and if more than one of my daughters shall be then living to hold as Tenants in Common and not as joint Tenants and to be conveyed assigned and disposed of as they or she shall direct or appoint (Subject nevertheless to the said intended Lease)

And as to all and singular he rest residue and remainder of my Estate Property and Effects Money Securities for Money Goods and Chattels of what nature or kind soever I direct that the same may be called in and converted into Money and the Money arising thereby and produced therewith equally divided between and amongst my said Son and three Daughters share and share alike

And I do hereby appoint the said George Wheelhouse Executor of this my Will and hereby revoking and making void all former and other Will and Wild by me at any time made I do declare this to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof the said John Waghorn have to this my last Will and Testament contained in three sheets of paper set my hand and seal (that is to say) t the first two Sheets I have set my hand and to this third and last Sheet my hand and seal this twenty second day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seven

This Will was Proved at London the third day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and eight before the Worshipful Samuel Pearce Parson Doctor of Laws ad Surrogate of the Right Honorable Sir William Wynne Knight Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of George Wheelhouse the Sole Executor named in the said Will to whom Admon. [Administration] was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the deceased having been first sworn duly to Administer.
