I give and bequeath unto my Sister the said Mellen Noakes all and every my household furniture plate linen china ready money money in the funds securities for money and all other my Personal Estate and Effects of whatsoever I may die possessed of or entitled unto to and for her own use and benefit
and in case of the death of the my said Sister Mellen Noakes I give and bequeath my said personal property as aforesaid unto and between all the children of my said Sister Mellen Noakes share and share alike such as shall be living at the time of my decease to and for their own absolute use and a benefit
I declare this to be my last will and testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hands and
seals the fifth day of March one thousand eight hundred and thirty four

the word “three” in the last line being first truck? through and the word “four” substituted in stead thereof

Proved at London 18th December 1841 before the Worshipful John Elliot Pasley Robertson Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the Oath of Melin Nokes (in the Will written Mellen Noakes) Widow the Sister the sole Executrix to whom Administration was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.

Sister Mellen Noakes was buried 3rd February 1854 aged 87 at SS Peter & Paul, Yalding.
Melin Waggon had married Robert Noke 10th July 1784 at Yalding. Witnesses were: Thomas Wagon and William Gibbons.
