In the name of God Amen I Richard Wallard of Borden in the Countie of Kent Yeoman beeing sicke in bodie yet in good and p[er]fect memory thancks bee to God for the same doe make & ordaine this my Laste will and testament in manner and forme following
First I give and bequeath my soule to allmighty God and my bodie to be buried at the discretion of my executor

Item I give and bequeath to the poor people of the p[ar]ish of Borden xls whereas xx to be paid at the daie of my buriall and other xx to bee paid at the feast of the nativitie of our Lord Christ next after my decease to bee paid by my executor

Item I give and bequeath to my Cousen Agnes Wallard the some of XX to bee paid unto her at her age of XX yeares or at her daie of marriadge w[hi]ch shall it come first to bee paid by my execut[or]
Item I give & bequeath to Gillian Shrubsole the wife of Edward Shrubsole my godaughter the some of xxs to bee paid wthin half yeare next after my decease to bee paid by my executor

As touching ye disposicon of my lands and tenem[en]ts

Item I give to Mary my wife one messuage & Lands wth all the appurtenances theareunto belonging lying in Boughton under the Bleane at a Certaine place Called South streete nowe in the occupation of Edward Shrubsole during her naturall life to stripp nor wast
and after her decease of the said Mary I give and bequeath the foresayde messuage to Henry Wallard my brother in the same forme as Mary my wife is to have the same that is during his naturall life
and after his decease to the sonnes of his bodie lawfullie begotten and to theire heires for ever

The remaynder of all my good(s) Cattells & Chattells I give and bequeath to Mary my wife whoome I make and ordaine my sole executrix of this my last will and testament
Item I make and ordaine my welbeloved Cousen John Handfield my Overseer of this my last will and doe give unto him the some of vs

The last will and testament of mee the aforesaid Richard Wallard caused by mee to bee made the third daie of June and have heareunto sett my hand and seale on the same daie in the xijth yeare of the Raigne of or Soveraigne Lord Jeames by the grace of God King of England France and Ireland and of Scotland the seaven and fortieth [1614]

Item I give our Henrye Wallard my brother my house in Feversham called Chandell house during his life
and after his decease to his daughters Bennit and Gillian and Tomsen, Agnes Wallard to them and their heires for ever

Richard Wallred, householder was buried at SS Peter & Paul, Borden, Kent, on 24th June 1614.
Richarde Wallar married Mary Plattman on 31st May 1591 at St. Mary the Virgin, Selling, Kent.
