Will of Robert Wastell

of Thanet St. Peter, Kent

Item I will and bequeath to Margerie Wilde my daughter Widowe of John Wilde v li[bra] [£5] to bee paid to her w[i]thin one yeare nexte after my decease by my Executor heareafter named and appoynted
Item I will and bequeath to Marye Wilde the daughter of the said Margerie xs [10s] to bee paid to her ymediatlie after my decease by my said Executor
Item I will and bequeath unto Sibell Warman my daughter iij li [£3] to bee paid to her within one yeare nexte after my decease by my said Executor
Item I will that the said Sibell shall have her free dwelling in the house wheare shee nowe dwelleth for and during all the tearme of her naturall life
Item I will & bequeath to Leonard Wastell my sonne x li [£10] to bee paid to him within three yeares nexte after my decease by my said Executor

Item I will and bequeath unto Richard Wastell my sonne eighteene pounds of Lawfull money of Englande to bee paide to him wthin one yeare nexte after my decease by my said Executor Conditionally that the said Richard shall satisfe to Richard Sprackling the x li w[hi]ch I stand bounde wth him by obligation to Gabriel Scape for the payment of the same money
But if my said sonne doe not dischardge the said ten pounds to the said Sprackling or his assignes Then my will minde and intent is that the said Richard Wastell my sonne shall have but onlie viij li [£8] at the time aforesaid

Item I will and bequeath unto Elizabeth Wastell and Marie Wastell the daughter(s) of ye said Richard to everie of them iij li[bra] to bee paide to everie of them ymediatlie after my decease by my said Executor
Item I will and bequeath to Isabell Polyne my daughter widowe of Hamon Polyne iijs iiijd of the like money to bee paide to her wthin twoe yeares nexte after my decease by my said Executor

Item I will and bequeath to Avis Polyne, Marye Polyne, Martha Polyne & Mark Polyne the children of the saide Hamon Polyne to everie of them iijs iiijd to bee paide to everie of them ymediatlie after my decease by my said Executor
Item I will and bequeath to Mary Warman and Thomas Warman the children of my saide daughter Sibill Warman to everie of them xs of like money to bee paid to everie of them ymediatlie after my decease by my said Executor

Item I will and bequeath to my sonne Nicholas Wastell thirtie pounds of the like money to bee paid to him in forme following by my said Executor (That is to saie) x li[bra] wthin one yeare nexte after my decease and xx li at th'end of the thirde yeare next after my decease
Item I will & bequeath to Mary Wastell the daughter of the said Nicholas Wastell vs of the like money to be paide to her by my saide Executor ymediatelie after my decease

Item I will and bequeathe to the said Nicholas Wastell my sonne one silver spoone, one dole of herring netts ready seabounde and one dole of shotnets readie seabounde to bee delivered to him ymediatlie after my decease
Item I will and bequeath unto Richard Wastell one silver spoone, one dole of herring netts ready seabounde and twoe dole of shottnets readie seabounde to bee delivered to him ymediatlie after my decease
Item I will to John Wastell the sonne of Gabriell Wastell my sonne tenn shillings to bee paide to him wthin twoe yeares nexte after my decease

All the residewe of my mooveable goods cattells and Chattells whatsoever not bequeathed after my debts legacies and funerall expences bee fullie dischardged and paide I will and bequeathe to the said Gabriell Wastell my sonne forever
wch said Gabriell Wastell I make my sole executor of this my testam[en]t to see the same in all poynts p[er]fourmed according to the true meaning theareof

In Wittness wheareof I have heareunto sett my hande and seale the daie and yeare first above written

To this wyttnesseth: Henry Rigden; George Wytheden and Robt. Webbe writer heareof

This is the laste will of mee the saide Robert Wastell made and declared the daie and yeare first above written and in the ninth yeare of the Raigne of our soveraigne Lorde, Lorde James by the grace of God, Kinge of England Fraunce and Ireland, deffender of the Faith, etc. And of Scotland the five and fortieth of and uppon all my lands tenements and hereditam[en]ts wth their apprtenncs [appurtenances] sett lying and being in the saide parrishe of St. Peter the Apostle or elswheare In the Isle and County aforesaide

First I will and bequeath all my lands tenements and hereditament wth their apprtenances unto the saide Gabriell Wastell my sonne and to his heires in Fee simple ymediatelie after my decease seeing all my debts legacies and funerall expences fullie dischardged and paide

Item I make and ordaine the said Gabriell Wastell my sonne my sole executor of this my laste will to see the same in all things pfourmed according to the true meaning theareof
