In the Name of God Amen Uppon the five and Twentieth day of february Anno dini 1678
I Stephen Wastell of Ramsgate in the parish of St. Laurence in the Isle of Thannet in the County of Kent Fisherman do make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say)

First I give and devise to Mary my daughter now wife of Adam Abbett her heires and assignes for ever both those my Two pieces or parcells of Land lyeing and being to the Eastward of the Kings High way leadeing from Ramsgate to Horton in the parish of St. Lawrence aforesaid one peice whereof lyeth in the Liberty of Ramsgate and the other peice in the Liberty of the parish of St. Lawrence aforesaid

Also I give to Sarah My Daughter now wife of Anthony Hooper and to Jane Wastell my Daughter their heires and assignes for ever equally to be divided between them All that my messuage or Tenement with the outhouses Edifices buildings yard orchard and appurten[an]ces thereunto belonging Scituate and being in Ramsgate aforesaid now in the occupacon of me the said Stephen Wastell and the aforesaid Anthony Hooper

Also I give and devise to my said Daughters Mary, Sarah and Jane their heires and assignes for ever equally to be divided between them both those my other Two peices or parcells of Land lyeing and being in the Liberty of Ramsgate aforesaid to the Westward to the Kings High way leading from Ramsgate to Herson as aforesaid

Also I give and bequeath to Stephen Hooper Sonne of the aforesaid Anthony Hooper Three pounds of lawfull English money to be paid within three Moneths after my decease
Also I give and bequeath to Mary Hooper daughter of the said Anthony Hooper forty shillings of lawfull English money to be paid within three moneths after my decease

Also all the rest and residue of my goods and chattells whatsoever after my debts be paid and funerall expences discharged I give and bequeath to my said Daughters Mary, Sarah and Jane equally to be divided between them
And I make and ordaine my said Daughters Mary, Sarah and Jane Executrixes of this my last will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Stephen Wastell have hereunto sett my hand and seale dated the day and yeare first above written and in the one and thirtieth yeare of his now Majestyes Reigne over England etc.

Note: Adam Abbott of St. Laurence in Thanet, Seaman, Widower and Mary Wastall, same parish, Spinster, aged 23. At St. Andrews, Canterbury on 4th June 1678.
