Secondly I give and bequeath my Fee Farme messuage or tenement Lands and premises with the appurtenances situate standing lying and being in the parish of High Halstow and Saint Maries in the Hundred of Hoo in the County aforesaid in the tenure or occupation of Thomas Knowe or his assigns or undertenants unto my dear and loving Wife Elizabeth Webb for and during the terme of her naturall life in case I leave no child or children by me begotten on her body living at the time of my death or that there be no posthumous child or children by me begotten born of her body after my death But in case there should be any such child or children as afors�d mentioned Then I give and bequeath the aforesaid Fee Farm Messuage or tenement Lands and premises aforesaid to her the said Elizabeth my said Wife only for and during so long time after my death as she shall continue a widdow and unmarried but if in case she my said wife shall at any time after my death marry againe or be marryed to any person whatsoever Then I give and bequeath after the death or day of Marriage of my said wife the aforesaid Fee Farme Messuage or tenement Lands and premises with the appurtenances in High Halstow and Saint Maries aforesaid in the Hundred of Hoo aforesaid unto such child or children lawfully by me begotten on the body of the said Elizabeth my said Wife share and share alike as tenants in common and not as Joynt tenants and in default of such issue Then I give and bequeath the said Fee Farme Messuage or tenement Lands and premises with the appurtenances in High Halstow and Saint Maries in the Hundred of Hoo aforesaid after the death of my said Wife unto my right heires for ever
Thirdly after my debts Funerall expences and probate of this my last Will and testament
are first paid and satisfied all and singular the rest and residue of my personall Estate
whatsoever as ready money Monies due from the Government Monies due at Interest
upon Mortgage either on Fee or Leasehold Estate or Estates or upon Bond Bill or
otherwise and all my plate Rings Jewels gold watch pictures glasses china ware linnen
woollen beds bedding pewter brass copper and all household goods and implements of
household stuff whatsoever I give and bequeath to my said wife Elizabeth Webb
And I doe hereby make and ordaine my said Wife Elizabeth Webb full and sole
Executrix of this my last Will and testament and doe hereby revoke and make void all
former Wills and Testaments by me formerly made In Witness whereof I the said
William Webb have to this my last Will and Testament sett my hand and seale dated the
day and yeare first above written � Will�m Webb � Signed sealed published and
declared by the said William Webb the Testator to be his last Will and Testament in the
presence of us who subscribed our names as witnesses hereto in the presence of the
said William Webb the said Testator

This will was proved at London before the Worshipful Robert Chapman Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right Worshipful John Bettesworth Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted on the First day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred Thirty Eight by the oath of Elizabeth Webb Widow the Relict and Sole Executrix named in the said will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and credits of the said deceased being first sworn duly to administer.
