In the first place I will and direct that all my just Debts and the Expences of my Funeral which I desire
may be as private as decency will admit, to be fully paid and satisfied
And I give and bequeath to my Son Richard Weekes the sum of Twenty Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain
Also I give and bequeath to my son James Weekes the sum of Ten Pounds of like money
And as to all the rest, residue and remainder of my Goods, Chattels, Household Goods and Furniture, Stock, Crop and Effects, Implements of Husbandry, Credits, Leaseholds, Monies and Securities for Money, Monies in the Public Funds and other my personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of every sort and kind, after and subject to the payment of all my just Debts, Funeral Expences and the above mentioned Legacies (as I have already provided for the other parts of my Family according to my abilities) I give and bequeath the same and every part and parcel thereof unto my Son John Weekes, his Executors and Administrators
And I nominate, constitute and appoint my said Son John Weekes Executor of this my last Will and Testament
In witness whereof, I the said Richard Weekeds the elder, the Testator, unto this my last Will and
Testament (contained in one sheet of paper) have set my hand and seal this sixteenth day of February
in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine

his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the
presence of each other have subscribed our Names as Witnesses

John Weekes the Son and sole Executor named in this Will was duly sworn as usual and that the
Goods, Chattels and Credits do not amount in value to the sum of Three hundred pounds
