First I give to the poore people of the Parish of St. Mildreds in Canterburie twentie sixe yards of lassess at 20d a yarde and 6s 8d in money to be distributed to and amongst each of them as my Executrix hereafter to be named as she shall thinke fitt and within one month next after my decease.
Item I give to the wife of THOMAS COCKS 6s.
Item I give to my Cousen WILLIAM FULLER 10s.
Item I give to HENRY FULLER and ELIZABETH my Cousen JOHN FULLERs children 20s apeece.
And I give to ISACK FULLER and AGNES FULLER my Cousens 6s 8d apeece.
Item I give to my loveing Mother in Law MARY SUTTON fower quoins in brasse of mee and one peece of gould of about 7s.
And to my Brother JOHN SUTTON my citteron.
And to my Brother ROBERT SUTTON one halfe a crowne in gould.
Item I give to my Brother PACKENHAM my best cloake suit onle.
And to my Sister PACKENHAM l0s.
And to my Sister SHARPESTED One French crowne.
I give to AGNES BARTON 5s.
And to ELLEN the wife of ELLES WATTS I give my old cloake or such other thing instead of as my Executrix shall thinke fitt.
Item I give more to the sayd AGNES BARTON one of my jerkins as my Executor shall thinke fitt to make her a wastecoat.
Item I give to my apprentice THOMAS CORHAM two payres of Shermans Sheers and the old presse and two
pairse of handles and a cutteinge board.
And my Will is that all these legacies shall bee payd and bee delivered within one moneth next after my decease.
And it is my desire to have a goode sermon preched at my burial by whome my Executrix shall thinke fitt and the Minister (that makes it) whome my minde is should bee doctor and shall have for his paines l0s.
I give to my daughter GRACE fourtie pounds of currant English money.
More I give to my said daughter GRACE the house next to THOMAS GIBSON in Stower Streete in Canterbury wherin a Stranger whose name
(as I take it) JOHN LE BEUX now dwelleth to bee had and holden to her and her heires forever.
I give to my daughter JOANE the house and the appurtenances thereto wherein the aforesaid THOMAS GIBSON now dwelleth and situat
in Stower Streete aforesaid to bee had and holden to her and her heires forever.
More I give to my said daughter JOANE the sume of thirtie pounds of currant English money.
Item I give to my daughter SARA the sume of fourtie pounds of currant English money.
And also I do give and devise to her the said SARA my house backside and appurtenances now in the occupacon of JOHN FENTIN
situate in the Parish of Holie Crosse of Westgate to bee had and holden to her and her heires forever
I give to my daughter PATIENCE fourtie pounds of currant English money.
More I give to my daughter Patience the house and the appurtenances thereunto wherein THOMAS BULLOCK now dwelleth and
adjoining to the said FENTINs sons house to bee had and holden to her and her heires forever.
Item I give to my daughter MARY the sume of fourtie pounds of currant English money.
Alsoe I give to her my said daughter MARY my house with the appurtenances in Furie Lane which was Mother DUNKINs to be had and holden to
her and her heires forever.
All my other houses lands tenements backsides and appurtenances thereto belonging whatsoever and wheresoever I give to my sonne JOHN WEEVELLS
to bee had and holden to him and his heires forever.
Item I give to my Brother PACKENHAMs children all my woollen apparell not formerly given except my best suite.
All the Rest and of my goods chattells cattells debts moveables plate and personal
estate whatsoever I give to my deare and loveing wife ALICE WEEVELLS assured
my selfe of her especiall care to bring up my children in the Feare of God.
Such sayd ALICE my wife I doe make and ordaine her onely and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.
And because my sayd wife is nowe visited with sickness and the matter of her recovry doubtful my
mind and meaninge to bee and my will is that if my sayd wife shall depart this life before she shall have taken
uppon her the execution of this my last Will shall have disposed of my personall estate then I doe substitute and
secondarily appoint my good neighbour and friend JOHN STANLEY to take uppon him the execution of this my
Will and the administration of my Personall Estate or thereof as shall remaine unadministered by my aforesaid
Executrix at her death. And him in her place and stead shee dying as aforesaid I name my Executor.
And if hee shall soe take uppon him the execution of this my Will then I give him for his paines therein to bee taken and
care to bee had of my children the sume of five pounds of currant English money.
And then I give will and bequeath all the residue of my goods about therein formerly given to my wife to my
sixe children to be equally divided amongst them.
