This is the last Will and Testament of me Alexander Weller late of Benenden in the County of Kent but now of Cranbrooke in the said County, Yeoman made published and declared the twentieth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine

First I do will and direct that all such Debts as I shall justly owe to any Person or Persons at the time of my Decease together with the Charges of my Funeral the Expence of proving this my Will and all incident Charges shall be truly and honestly paid and satisfied out of such part of my Estate and Effects as shall consist of ready Money or Securities for Money

Whereas under and by virtue of the Settlement made on my Marriage with my first Wife Mary, before then Mary Standen, Spinster, my two Sons Alexander Weller and John Weller will on my Death become entitled to have & receive to themselves and their Heirs one Annuity or Yearly Rent Charge of sixteen Pounds to be Yearly issuing and going out of all and singular the Messuages, Lands, Woodlands and Premises in the said Deed of Settlement particularly mentioned and which Premises I have lately sold and conveyed to Thomas Hinkly late of Rolvenden in the said County of Kent, Carpenter I do therefore hereby exclude my said two Sons from any benefit or Advantage whatever under this my will as immediately arising or accruing from the same

I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Catherine to and for her sole and only Use and Benefit and as a Gratuity or Recompense for the extra Trouble and Care she hath had and taken about me and in the management of my Concerns All and singular my Household Goods, Household Furniture and Implements of Household, Plate, Linen and China whatsoever

All the Rest and Residue of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever the same may be, I do give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto and equally between and amongst my said Daughter Catherine and my other Daughters Mary the Wife of Henry Hatch, Sarah the Wife of Thomas Couchman, Ann, Hester the Wife of John Hatch and Elizabeth the Wife of James Hatch, their respective Executors and Administrators

And I do make, constitute and appoint Richard Curteis of Tenterden in the said County of Kent, Esquire, full and sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, herby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made

In witness whereof I the said Alexander Weller the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament contained in two sheets of Paper set my Hand and Seal, that is to say, my Hand to the first sheet and my Hand and Seal to this last Sheet, the Day and Year in the first sheet first written.

Signed, Sealed, published and declared by the before named Alexander Weller the Testator as and to be his Last Will and Testament in the Presence of us, who in his presence, at his Request and in the Presence of each other, have subscribed our names as Witnesses
