of Thanet St. Peter, Kent

The last will and Testament nuncupative of Mary Westall late while & she lived of the parish of St. Peter in the Isle of Thannett in the County of Kent and Archdeaconry of Canterbury widow decea[se]d by her uttered and declared in the time of her sickness whereof she dyed and more particularly on or about the sixth day of December Anno D[omi]ni one thousand six hundred seventy and three she being then of perfect minde and memory and having a fixt intent and purpose to make her will and dispose of her estate did by words following

vizt the said Mary Westall did say and declare that she gave unto her two daughters vizt Sarah the wife of John Shonke and Jane Wastell all the goods or Estate that she had and her will was further that her daughter Jane should have five ponds more than her Daughter Sarah

Also she gave unto her two sonns Gabriell and Stephen two shillings apiece and she further declared that incase her said daughter Jane should dye unmarried that then what she had given to her said daughter Jane she gave and willed unto her aforesaid daughter Sarah the wife of John Shonke

And she also did say and declare that she did make the said Sarah and Jane the Executrixes of her s[ai]d will

or the said Mary Wastall decea[se]d did declare words to the same or like effect in the p[rese]nce and hearing of Robert Witherden and Valentine Giles whose names are hereunto subscribed

Notes:
Mary Wastell was the widow of Richard Wastell. She died 16 Dec 1673. Probate was granted in 1673. She may have been Mary Hall who married Richard Wastell 17 Nov 1634 at St John, Margate.
Sarah Wastill was christened at St Peters Thanet 21 Feb 1646.
Jane Wastell was christened at St Peters Thanet 10 Nov 1650.
Gabriell Wastell was christened 10 Sep 1648 at St Peters Thanet.
Stephen Wastell was christened 30 Jan 1652 at St Peters in Thanet.
A Jane Wastell married George Hooper at St Lawrence in Thanet on 25 Jan 1682.
