Imprimos I give and bequeath to my deare and loveing wife Marey Whatman all that house or home stall in the parish of Loose in the county of Kent in which I now dwell, with all the apartencyes thare unto belonging, and allso one mesage or tenament lying or being in the parish of Marden in the county of Kent aforesaid now in the occupation of John Beckett with all the apartennancess thar unto belonging, duering har naturall life,
and after har decease I give and bequeath the above said Estate mesagesses and tenaments in the parishes of Loose and Marden with all the apartinances thare unto belonging to my deare and only son James Whatman and to the heairs of his body lawfully begotten for ever,
but if it shall please God that my son James Whatman die before he arives att the age of one and
twenty years or with ought hirs lawfully begotten of his one body, then I give and bequeath my partinall
Estate that is to say my stocke in traid & ready mony and securityes for mony that shall be found att the
time of my decease, to my neece Liddea Catt widdow late wife of John Catt of Yalding desesed and to
har heirs now in being for ever
paying six hundread pound ought of the said partinall Estate as follows
tow hundred pounds to my formar sarvant and kinsman Robart Peene,
and tow hundred pounds to my kinsman James Cassreat son of James Casstreat my brother in law,
and tow hundread pound to my brother in law William Hariss of good and lawfull mony of Great Britten, duering his naturall life,
and aftter his decease
I give and bequeth one hundread and fivety pound of the said tow hundread to his son Thomas Haries and his heirs for ever,
and the other fivety pound of the said tow hundread I give tow his daughttter Liddea Haries and har heirs for ever
Itame I give and bequeth unto my niees Liddea Catt widdow latt wife of John Catt of Yalding deceased that mesage or tennament lying and being in Well Streat in the parish of Loose in the county of Kent afore said afttar my decease and to har heirs now in being for ever
Itame I give unto my neaphew James Castreat son of my brother in law James Castreat the sume of five pound
and likewise I give unto my kinsman Robart Peene five pound of good and lawfull mony of Great
Breatten to be paid within three mounthes afttar my decease by my executionrs hearaftter mentioned
& desiering the said Robart Peene and James Castreat as trustes to aide and asiste my deare and loveing
wife, and my deare and only son Marey and James Whatman in the Execution of this my laste will and testament
And lastly I apount make ordaine and constitute my deare and loveing wife Marey Whatman and my deare and only son James Whatman hole and sole Executinores of this my last will and testament paying my debts and finararll charges
