In the name of God Amen I Richard Willard of Bennenden being in good and p[er]fect memory doe give my Soule unto allmighty God and my bodye to bee buried in the church yarde

I will and give unto Edmund Willard my sonne tenne pownds of good and lawfull money of England to bee payd unto him the daye of one and twenty yeeres of age
Also I will and give unto Elizabeth Willard my daughter tenne pownds of good and lawfull money of England to bee payd at her daye of marriage or one wholle yeere after my decease first come first to bee payd

Mye will and minde is yf my wife doe happen (to) marry that then shee shall paye unto Edmund Willard my sonne the some of tenne pownds of good and lawfull money of England before shee doe marry w[hi]ch is the full of twenty pownds
Also I (will) that (she) doe paye unto Elizabeth Willard my daughter yf shee doe marry tenne pownds of good and lawfull money of England wch shalbee the sume of twentye pownds

My debts and legacies being payd All the rest of my moveable goods I give unto Margaret my Wiffe wch I doe ordeyne and make my Wholle executor

Richard Willard married Margery Reeve 1 Aug 1585 at St. Mary, Goudhurst, Kent.
Their known children (all baptised at St. George, Benenden): 7 Dec 1586 Marget; 3 Mar 1588 Elizabeth; 8 Apr 1588 Henry (Bu: 3 Apr 1603); 12 Oct 1589 Phillip (Bu: 23 Apr 1603); 1 Aug 1591 Katherine; 16 Sep 1593 Edmund; 19 Nov 1600 Francis.
