unto the poor of Tonbridge, aforesaid, 10s
unto my loving son John Wyllard 20s & 1 pair of flaxen sheets
& to Elizabeth & Frances his 2 daughters, to either of them, a silver spoon.

Item: I will unto my daughter Susan my featherbed & bolster in the new chamber & the bedsteddle there, my white rug, my carpet in the hall, 5 pewter platters, 2 pewter dishes & to Elizabeth, her daughter, 1 silver spoon.
Item: I will that my son John have delivered to him the stone pot covered & footed with silver which his mother, my late wife, willed & appointed unto him
& that Susan, my daughter, shall have the silver salt to her likewise appointed by her mother
& that Alice, my daughter, have the silver cap which was also her mother’s gift to her.

Item: I will unto Alice, my daughter, the joined bedstead with the flockbed, 2 bolsters, covering, 2 blankets and two pillows as they now stand and are next to the bedsteddle whereon I lie and also 2 pairs of sheets, a pair of pillow coats, a pair of brandirons in the hall, the 2 chests which she now useth & one great chest in the new chamber wherein the linen lyeth, 3 pewter platters, 3 pewter dishes, 1 salt, 2 saucers & 2 pottingers 1 box standing in a frame & 2 small boxes & 1 chamber pot & also 15 pounds.

All which goods & money formerly given to the said Alice, I will that David Willard, my son, shall have, hold & enjoy for to keep, clothe, sustain & maintain her during her natural life & if the said David decease (living the said Alice) or if the said Alice dislike to be kept by the said David & that Susan, her sister, or any other whom the said Alice shall make choice of, will take upon her or them to keep, clothe, sustain & maintain the said Alice, during her natural life, for her portion in goods & money aforesaid Then I will that the said David, my son, his executors or assigns, shall faithfully & peaceably deliver the said Alice, with her said portion of goods & money, to her said sister or “dischardge” hose or breeches of a particular fashion introduced from Venice such other person as shalbe chosen by the said Alice & will take upon them to keep & maintain her during her life & thereof will discharge the said David & then the portion of goods & money so appointed to the said Alice to be theirs in whose keeping the said Alice shall happen to decease (any gift or grant thereof made to the said Alice to the contrary notwithstanding).

Item: I give to my 3 godchildren, viz. Henry s/o George Farleigh, Margaret, d/o William Lyons & Abraham, the s/o Samuel Ireland, 3s 4d each.
Item: I will unto John Somerfall, my servant, my doublet & venetians which I now wear

The residue of all & singular my goods, cattells, chattells & credits I wholly and fully give & bequeath unto David Willard, my loving son, who I make & ordain the sole executor
