In the Name of God Amen I Charles Wilmot of Sundridge in the County of Kent paper Manufacturer do publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament and I hereby revoke and make void all former and other wills by me at any time or times heretofore made
First I commend my Soul to Almighty God hoping forgiveness of my Sins through the merits and mediation of our blessed Saviour and redeemer Jesus Christ And I request that my body may be interred in my family vault at Sundridge and that my funeral may be in every respect as plain and economical as Custom will permit

I give devise and bequeath all my Real and Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever of or to which I or any person or persons in trust for me am is or are seized possessed or entitled or over which I have or shall have any power of disposition or appointment by this my Will subject to the payment thereout of my just debts funeral and Testamentary expences and of the pecuniary legacies given by this my will and also subject to the other bequests hereinafter contained unto my dear and beloved natural daughter Elizabeth Wilmot her heirs Executors Admors and assigns for ever absolutely but as to any Estates vested in me as Trustee or mortgagee subject to the Equities affecting the same respectively

And I give the legacies or sums of Sterling money following money following (that is to say)
unto my Sister Maria Selby the sum of one hundred pounds
unto my Sister Elizabeth Gedge the sum of one fifty pounds
unto my Niece Mary Gedge the sum of fifty pounds
unto my Nephew Gustavus Rogers Wilmot the sum of fifty pounds
unto my Nephew James William Wilmot the sum of fifty pounds
unto my Nephew George Wilmot the sum of fifty pounds
unto my Niece Mary Ann Wilmot the sum of fifty pounds
unto my Niece Elizabeth Remelion Wilmot the sum of fifty pounds
and unto my housekeeper Sarah Wood who has lived with and served me faithfully for upwards of thirty years the sum of five hundred pounds

I also give the portrait of my father to my Nephew James William Wilmot the portraits of my late Brother Thomas Wilmot and his Wife to my Nephew William Gedge and the remaining portraits of older members of my family I give unto my Nephew George Wilmot

and I appoint the said Elizabeth Wilmot and my friend Charles Martyr of Bouverie Street London wholesale Stationer Executor and Executrix of this my Will
And I give unto the said Charles Martyr the sum of one hundred pounds as an acknowledgement for his Services in executing the Trust hereby reposed in him

In Witness whereof I the said Charles Wilmot the Testator have to this my last will and testament set my hand this thirteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & thirty nine Charles Wilmot
