This is the Last Will of me the forsaide John Wysenden made on the daie and yere abovesaid And in the yere of the Reigne of king Henry the vijth viijth [in the 8th year of Henry VII] of and in all my lands and tenements Rents s...es and re..ionce with all thappurtennces [the appurtenances] lying and being In the parochie of Loose and Estfarlegh [East Farleigh] or over Where wtin [within] countie of Kente In the which Master Richard Tuttesham, John Brade gentleman and Peter Chapell of trust by me bith season [both seisen] and feoffes as in such a dede by me thereof to theme made more playnly is conteyned

First I will and ordeyne that my said Feoffes wtin the monnth next folowing after my decesse of myne Aunte Margery Jourdayne of Estfarlegh all that my pparte of all the landes and tenements rents and p...es with all thappurtennces leyng and being in the parich of Estfarleigh aforesaide [unreadable word inserted] unto the most valowe [value] they can expecte x acres of the same lande the which I will that Agnes my Wife have and occupie the saide x acres of lands with all thapppurtennce during all the time of her life

And afte decesse of the saide Agnes my Wife I will that the said x acres of lands wtall thapppurtennce holy [wholly] shall remayne unto my childryn to there heires and assignes for ever more
As for the lands above that shalbe solde I will that my feoffes make as shorte days of payment as they may

And if John Lorken my Couesen wilbye hit [will buy it] I will that he have it better chepe than my other may by vjs viijd [6 shillings & 8 pence]
And as for my saide feoffes make there days of payment withe purchesour I Will that the said purchesour or purchaseours pay all the money of the sale of the saide londs and tenements comyng of such days as bey assigned by me saide feoffes to Agnes my Wife and executrice And of the said money by her receyved I will shee paye unto Marster Richard Tuttesham and Marster John Brode my Feoffes to ech of them for ther labors xs And to Peter Chappell for his labour vjs viijd

Also I Will that the said Agnes myne executrice shall pay of the said money unto my iij [3] sones as they come to age of xviij yere ech of them xxs And if any of theme die or he come his lawfull age of xviij yere then I Will that ech of theme by others heires of the said iij Li [£3] that is to say yf any of theme decesse byfore anoder [another]

Also I will that the saide Agnes my Wife when Margett my doughter is maried shall ordeyne of the money comyng of the said lands above sold iiij [4] mark in stuffe to her mariage And on the saide daie of her Mariage to pay her xls [40 shillings] And at that daye twelmonith other xls of the said money
Also I will that if the said Agnes my Wiffe be with childe with a manchilde of her body and myne begotten and leivth to the age of xviij yere shall have xxs
And if it be a mayde childe I will that it have at the age beforesaide of the same money v mark?

Also I will and ordeyne that the said Agnes my Wiffe soon after my decesse shall have holde and occupie my ij Messes [Messuages] wtall the lands to them p'teyninge being and lying in the parich of lose and Estfarlegh abovesaid unto all the time of her life and a yere over to her executors and assignes keping competent rep'ations upon the saide Messuage during all the time abovesaide except ij p'ces of lande wtall thappurtenncs Whereof ... is called the Need lying in the parish of Lose [Loose] aforesaid I will that thei? anone aft my decese be solde by the distretion of my said executors and the money thereof comyng and receyved I Wil that it paie my detts and bequethes as far as it will strech

Also I Will that a yere aft my decese of the saide Agnes my Wife that the ij forsaid Mesuags and lands with all thappurtenncs shall hole remayne unto Thomas John William and to the saide Manchilde yf there be any When the youngest of theme comyth to the age of xxij yer to have and to holde to theme to there heires and assignes for ever more in fee simple
And yf it happe that all my forsaid sonnes decese without heires of there bodies lawfully begotten afore decese of the saide Agnes my Wife wtin the age aforesaid Then I will that John Rigne shall delyvr astate to the said Agnes my wife of and in my Messuage wt all the lands to the same p'teynyng I called Saunders to have to holde to her and to her heires and assignes for ev'r more in fee simple

And I will that the other said Messuage wtall the lands to the same p'teynyng shall remayne unto Margett Wysenden my Dauhtor and to the heires of her body lawfully begotten at there furst comyng there to paing for a preest to sing In the parish church of Estfarlegh aforesaide by a quart of yer for my soule and for the soules of my fader and Moder and all cristen soules xxxiijs iiijd
And for another prest to sing In the parich church of Lose for my soules and all cristen soules by a qrt of a yere xxxiijs iiijd
And it happe the said Margett my daughter decesse wtout (issue) of her body lawfully begoten then I will that it remayne unto the next heires of my blode and so from heire to heire for ever more under this forme and condition following
that the saide heire or heirce wtin the space of a yere aft there entering into the same shall fynde a prest to sing In the parish church of Estfarlegh aforesaide by halfe a yere for my soule and for the soules of my fader and moder and all cristen soules v mark?
And for anoder prest to sing In the p'ish church of Lose [Loose] aforesaide by halfe a yer in forme aforesaid v mark?

Also I Will yff the saide Agnes my Wife decesse before the said Margery I o..dayne my Amonte? thene the said purchesour shall paye or do to paid all the money comyng for my prapt? of the said lands and tents [tenements] above solde In manr and forme afore saide Unto the said Thomas Cleve my broder [brother] and executor and to his executors or assignes and so with parte of the saide money to se [see] the growing of my said childryn unto the tyme they come to the age afore rehersed And the ov'pluce [overplus] of the saide money to be kept to the behofe [behoof] of my forsaide childryn in maner and forme before rehersed

And if it to be that all my forsaide childryne decesse without heires of there bodies lawfully begoten as it is afore rehersed then I Will that my said executors or there assignes shall finde wt the said money an honest prest to sing in the church of Lose aforesaide by the space of a hole yere for my soule and all cristen soules 10 mrk? of lawfull money
And to use unto the church of Lose a Vestament of v mrk?
And also to the saide church ij torches the p'ce xiijs iiijd
Also I will that my saide executor or his assignes shall fynde a noder honest prest to sing in the church of Estfarlegh aforesaide by halfe a yere for my soule and for all cristen soules v mre? And a vestment to the same church the p'ce xiijs iiijd And a torch the p'ce viijd
Also I bequeth to Estfarleigh brigge xxvjs viijd

And all the Residewe of the foresaide Money I Will that it be disposed yerely to kepe my yeres mynde In the parich church of Lose aforesaide Upon prests and clerks to say dirige and Masse and for Agnes my Wife Soule and oure childryn soules and all cristen soules Amen

Also I bequeath unto the said Thomas Cleve myne executor for his labour vjs viijd
