In the Name of God Amen I George Witherden of Ramsgate in Kent and now Mariner on board his Majesty�s Sloop Swallow Thomas Underwood Esqr Commander being in good health and sound memory do to avoid making of Controversies after my decease make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following Vizt.
First I recommend my Soul unto God and as for my Body I give it to the Earth or Sea as it shall please God to order

and as for my Wages Prize Money Short Allowance Money etc. I give and bequeath the same unto Susanna Witherden of Ramsgate in the County of Kent

In Witness whereof I have hereunto put my Hand and Seal this fourth day of February one thousand seven hundred and seventy three And in the thirteenth Year of the Reign of his Majesty King George the third of Britain King etc. George Witherden
