I Daniel Witherden of Ramsgate in the Isle of Thanet in the County of Kent Mariner being of sound and disposing Mind and Memory praised be God for the same do this Day and Year hereunder Written make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say

First I order and direct that all my just Debts and Funeral Expences be fully paid and satisfied
Also I give to my Sister Hannah Witherden the Widow of my Brother Robert Witherden Five pounds
Also I give to my Cousin Mary Hooper the Daughter of Stephen and Sarah Hooper two hundred pounds

also I give to my Brother John Witherden and Sarah Witherden the Widow of my Brother Zachariah Witherden all and every my Messuages or Tenements with their Ground and Land thereto severally belonging and all other the Premises with their Appurtenances situate lying and being in Ramsgate as joint Tenants and in case either of the said Parties shall die to go to the surviving party and in case both parties to go to Mary Hooper her heirs and assigns for ever

All the rest and residue of my Goods Chattels Wages Bonds Notes Securities Vessels parts of Vessells and all other my personal Estate whatsoever I give to my Brother John Witherden and Sarah Witherden and to their use for ever

Also I give to my Brother John Witherden all my Wearing Apparel Books and Instruments
Also I give to my Sister Sarah Witherden all my Table Linen Plate and Bed Linnen

and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Brother John Witherden and Sister Sarah Witherden jointly or separately Executor or Executrix of this my Will and I do hereby revoke and make Void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made declaring this only to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Daniel Witherden the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament sett my hand and seal the seventh day of October in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty four Daniel Witherden
