And the residue of all my goods and chattels and debts , wheresoever they may be ,
after my debts have been paid , and my burial made , and the present testament
performed , I give and bequeath entirely to Robert Wodier my son, by him to be
disposed in the best manner that he can or knows to please God to promote the
salvation of my soul.
And I make, ordain and constitute the aforesaid Robert Wodier, my son, the executor
of this my testament, justly and faithfully to perform all and singular the things in the
same my present testament.
Given the day and year above mentioned.
This is the last will of me, William Wodier of the County of Kent, as to the lands and
tenements of my rents and services , with all their rights and commodities which I have
in the parish of Chatham or elsewhere in the County of Kent, with which I have lately
enfeoffed in confidence John Potager, John Berer, and Henry Mariot of Rochester in
the same County, namely, first and principally I charge the aforesaid John Potager ,
John Berer, and Henry Mariot, my feoffees, that at once after my decease they make
estate to Robert Wodier my son, of and in all those lands and tenements, rents and
services, with all their rights and commodities, situated in the parish of Chatham.
