Item I doe will unto my welbeloved wife Christian Woodward five pounds of lawfull Englishe money two bushells of wheate two bushells of Barly both sweet and good one load of wood and one stocke of Bees with all such goods as shee brought with her at the time of our mariage all which money and goods I assured her also at the time of mariage by an instrument or bill by mine hand if she should survive me the wheate and barly excepted which I nowe give her and all which I will to be payd and delivered unto her according to the time limited and appoynted in the same instrument or bill
Item I doe will unto my daughter Mildred Pantry halfe a seame of wheat, halfe a seame of Barly and ten shillings of good Englishe
money to be payd her within one quarter of a yeare after my decease
Item I doe will unto Thomas Pantry sonne of my said daughter my god sonne six shillings eight pence to be payd him at the age of
one and twenty yeeres
Item I doe will unto my daughter Margaret Payne ten shillings of good Englishe money to be payd her within one quarter of a
yeare after my decease
Item I doe give unto Anne Payne daughter of my said daughter ten shillings of like money to be payd unto her either at the age
of eighteene yeeres or at the day of her mariage which first commeth
Item I will unto Roger Payne, William Payne, Richard Payne, Joseph Payne and Thomas Payne sonnes of my said daughter to every of
them three shillings and four pence to be payd when they come to the Severall ages of eighteene yeeres
Item I will unto my sonne Anthony Woodward five pounds of good Englishe money to be payd him at the age of one and twenty yeeres
Item I give more unto the said Anthony my sonne one pyde heyfer of two yeares of and -ale to be delivered unto him in his use within
one quarter of a yeere after my decease
Item I will unto my sonne Thomas Woodward twenty shillings of good Englishe money to be payd him within one quarter of a yeere
after my decease
Item I doe will unto my sonne James Woodward twenty shillings of good Englishe money to be paid him within one quarter of a yeere
after my decease
Item I will that if any of my said Children depart this life before they have received and had their severall portion or portions
accordinge to the Severall ages and times limited and appoynted in this my last will, that then the other Surviveinge have his or their
portions or portion equally to be divided betweene them.
All the residue of my goods unbequeathed I give unto Richard Woodward my sonne whome I ordaine and make my Sole Executor to
see this my last will and Testament fulfilled accordinge to the true meaneinge thereof
Item I doe (for the better performance thereof) intreate Mr Edward Boys of Barfreston and my Brother Matthewe Woodward of Nonington
to be overseers of this my last will unto either of which for their paynes that they shall take therein I give two shillings six pence.
In witnesse whereof and that this is my last will and testament I the said Thomas Woodward have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the day
and yeere above written. And in the presence of those whose names are also underwritten Thomas Woodward
