In the Name of God Amen the Eleanventh Day of Marche in the fifteenth yere of the Raigne of or [our] Soveraigne Lord Kyng James of England Fraunce and Ireland etc. [1617/8]
I William Woodstocke of Cheilsfeild in the Countie of Kent Yeoman beyng in prefect remembraunce and in gand? healthe (I give God thankes for yt) do make and ordayne this my Last will and testament in manner and forme folowing
Firste I give and bequeathe my Soule to Almightie God my Savyoure and Jesus Christe his sonne by whose merritts I trust to be saved and my bodie to be buryed in the Churcheyard of Cheylfeild

Item I give unto Elizabeth Woodstocke my daughter fyve shillinges to be payed unto her within one monethe after my buryall
Item I give unto Agnes Woodstocke my Daughter my blacke grymble face Cowe
Item I give unto John Woodstocke my sonne my browne faced Cowe and all my Corne

Item I give unto John my sonne and Agnes my Daughter all the Residue of my goodes and Chattells to be equallie devided betwene them
whome I doe make my sole Executrix of this my last will and testament
In Witnesse whereof I have set my hand the daye and yere abovesayed

I desire my good freindes William Brasier & John Wakelyn the elder of Cheylesfeild to be the Overseers of this my last will and testament

Witnesse unto this will: George Manning, George Smythe parson of Chelsfeild, Alexander Ellis Curate of Farnborowe [Farnborough]

Probatum fuit: [Latin] 16th February 1619/20 to son John Woodstocke and daughter Agnes Brasier.
