In the name of God Amen and in the seveth day of may in the yere of Our Lord god One thousand six hundred twenty Eyght
I George Woode of Hedcorne in the County of Kent husbandman sick of body but of perfect Remembrance I ordaine and make my last testament and last will
First I comit my soule to all mighty god and my Body to the earth from whence it Came and for such goods as it hath pleased god to give me, my will and mind of them is as followeth

Item I give Martha my Wife all my movable goods that I have
Item I give to Richard Poter (?) my wives Brother, ten shilings
Item I give to my Ante Cares Children six pence apece
Item I give to my Cosen Thomas Burrel six pence
Item I will that these Legeses shale be payd by my executor with in one hole yere if it be demanded

Item I give to Martha my Wife One house with a parcel of land there unto belonging lying in the parishe of Smarden in the County of Kent
Item I will that my Wife shale pay to my mother ten shilings a yere as I have payd as long as she liveth

Item I ordaine and make Martha my Wife my full and whole Executor of this my last will and testament
in the presents of the witneses I set my hand and Seale in the presents of

Item my mind is that my Wife and har heyers shale have my house and land for ever
