In the name of God Amen. This is the laste will and testament of me Katherine Wood of Ulcombe in the Countie of Kent, Singlewoman, beinge I thanke god, of perfect memorie though sicke of body. First as farre as in me lyeth I bequeathe my sowle unto Allmightie god my maker and redeemer, hopinge to obtayne everlastinge lyfe thorough the deathe and passion of Jesus Christe.

Item I will my body (when it shall please god to take me out of this lyfe) to be buried wher and in what manner it shall be thought fittest by my brother Richard Wood whome I doe make and ordayne sole executor of this my last will and testament.

Item I will unto my saide brother Richard Wood twentie poundes in money.
Item I will unto my sister Clarke ten poundes in money and to eche of her two children five poundes to be payde within one whole yeare after my decease.
Item I will unto my sister Jane Wood twentie poundes in money to be payde unto her within one whole yeare after my decease. And I allso will unto her my saide sister Jane, my rydinge cloke and safgarde
Item I will unto my sister Curlyn fiftene pounds in money to be payde her within one whole yeare next after my decease

And whereas threscore poundes was geven unto me by Goodwyfe Bodyn by deede I doe will that my saide brother Richarde Wood my executor shall (so soone as convenient he so can after it shall be due to me, my executors or assignes) purchase so muche lande as the saide threescore poundes will bye, which lande I doe will shall be purchased to the use of my said sister Curlyn for the terme of her lyfe and after her decease to the use of her fower Children and their heires for ever.

Item I will to the saide Goodwyfe Bodyn twentie poundes in money and to her husbande (blank) Bodyn five poundes to be payde to them within one whole yeare next after my decease
Item I will unto Frances Monoche wyfe of Edwarde Monoche of Ulcombe aforesaide five poundes to be payde unto her within one whole yeare next after my decease.
Item I will twentie shillinges to the poor of the parishe of Leedes where I was, to be bestowed by my said executor accordinge to his discretion so sone as conveniently can

Item In witnesse that this is my laste will and testament I have hereunto sett my hande and seale Dated the tenth daye of Maye Anno domini 1631
And further more I do will fortie shillinges to my lady Saint Leger to by her a silver Candlesticke. I will shall be payde unto her by my executor within one monethe after my decease.
