In the name of God Amen, this thirtith daie of Maye 1632 I Franncis Wood of Hollingborne in the County of Kent, gent, beeing dangerouslie wounded and doubting of the Contynewance of my life in this world, doe make and ordayne my last will and Testament in manner following
First I doe bequeath my soule into the hand of allmightie god, hoping to bee saved by the onelie merittes of Jesus Christ And my bodie I bequeath to Christian buriall in the Church of Ashford in sure of a blessed Resurrection att the last daie And for my worldlie goodes I dispose and bequeath them as followeth

First I give unto my loving Friend Richard Hurlestone that gave mee my wound, Forty shillinges
Item I give unto Mr John Maplisden Forty shillinges
Item I give unto Amie Willmott Five poundes
Item I give unto Henrie Generey Fortie shillinges
Item I give unto my kinsman John Wood, dwelling with Mr Woodward of Ashford, twentie shillinges
Item I give unto Mary Wildishe of Hollingborne Fortie shillinges
Item I give to the poore of Hollingborne Tenn shillinges
Item I give to the poore of Ashford Tenn shillinges
Item I give unto my loving Uncle Mr William Wood of Maidstone Forty shillinges

And I doe make and ordayne the said William Wood my Uncle my sole Executor of this my last will and Testament

And for all my lands which do belong unto me, I give and bequeath to my twoe brothers Thomas and Beniamyn to bee equallie devided betwixt them

And that this is my last will and Testament I have published and declared as above and subscribed in the presence of
Edmund Hayes, Comfort Starr, Henry Maskell, his marke
