In the name of God Amen
I Richard Woodward of the parish of Tilmanstone having as yet sufficient understanding and memory, the Lord bee praysed, have order be- my self and my whole Estate I do committ my soule to God, my Body to the ground and as for that my worldly Estate it hath pleased the Lord to lende me I thus order and ordain of itt as followeth

Inprimis, unto my six sons Leonard, Richard, John, Mathew, William and Thomas Woodward I give and bequeath twenty shillings apeece, to be payd at fifteen years of Age before which time if any one or more of them chance to dye I will the surviving brothers inherit his or theyr Portion equally divided among them my fore sayed sons

Item the Residue of my Estate I will give and bequeath unto my now wife Anna Woodward after whose Decease I will give and bequeath the Lease of my Dwelling house unto Mathew my Son who if hee dye before that time I will then my wife have the disposing of itt to any other of our sons then Living

And of this my Last Will and Testament I further order and ordaine my now wife Anna Woodward Sole Executrix
In wittnesse whereof I have here Sett to my hande and Seale March 3 Anno 1638
