In the name of God : Amen I William Woodier of Hartlip in the Countye of Kent doe make my last Will and Testament in manner and forme followinge First I give and bequeath my Soule into the hands of God trustinge to be saved onely by the merritts of Christ my bodie to be buryed at the discrecion of my Executrix whome I appoint to be my wife Thomasine And to whome I give and bequeath all my personall estate goodes chattells debtes moneys and whatsoever else belonges unto me of that kinde To have and to hold duringe her naturall life

And after her death my will is if there be any thinge lefte it be given to to my Grandchildren John Bayton William Bayton and Thomas Bayton and be equally devided amongst them And for the present I give I give unto each of them xiid and to their Father Matthewe Bayton xiid to be paid per my Executrix

This is my last Will and Testament w(hi)ch I declare and publishe March the 21 1653 The mark of William Woodyeare in the presence of
Margery Woofe her marke, Edw Garland

This will was proved at London the fower and twantieth day of May in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand six hundred fiftye five before the Judges for probate of Wills and granntinge administracone by the oath of Thomasine Woodyeare the Relict and Sole Executrix & To whome administrac(i)on was com(m)itted & To whome administrac(i)on was com(m)itted (sic) & She being first sworne by Com(m)ission truely to administer
