Item I give and bequeath unto Dennis my loveing wief the some of Seavenscore pounds of good and lawfull money of England
I will that she shall have Forescore pounds of that money forthwith for her present use of that money which was of Harpershon to be paid
according as the bonds make mention and the other part to be paid her by her brother John Barnes and Thomas Wildish and the other
pte [part] to be paid her within one yeare after my decease to be paid her by my Executor hereafter mentioned
Item I give and bequeath unto her all my howsehold stuffe which is in the howse And likewise the wheate in the Barne, Excepting enough for my buriall, and likewise the wood Except two Chests which stand in the Chamber over the hall & likewise one joynd bed and one Joynd box which be not to me All the rest my will is that my wiefe Dennis shall have;
I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Exsum the long Ashen Chest;
I give unto my Executor one Oken chest which was my mothers;
I give unto my brother Thomas Barnes one long Gunn;
I give and bequeath unto William Hocker, all my weaveing tacklings which belong unto the trade of a weaver which is in my shopp and
my Muskite to him
Item I doe appoint my Executor to pay the Legacys to children when they shall accomplish the age of Fower and twenty yeares according
as John Rassells will makes mencion;
if my wiefe be with Child by me, then this my will is that she shalbe Executrix, if she be not with child then my
will is that my brother Thomas Wood shall be full and hole Executor of this my last will and testament
I give and bequeath unto him and his heires all my lands lyeing in the parish of Sheldwich unto him and his heires forever;
then my will is that he shall pay unto my brother George Wood the some of Five pounds of good & lawfull money of England
and likewise I do appoint him to pay unto his Eldest sonne the summe of twenty pounds of like money when he shall accomplish the age of
one and Twenty yeares

This Will was proved at London the Second day of March One thowsand six hundred fifty seaven before the Judges by the Oath of Thomas Wood
sole Exetor [Executor] etc. To whome adminacon [administration] was comitted etc. hee being first sworne truely to administer etc.
