In the name of God Amen The sixteenth day of September in the yeere of our Lord One
Thousand Six hundred fiftie and Fowre
I Solomon Wood of Wormshill in the Countie of Kent Gent being aged and weake of Bodie but of
sound and perfect memorie praised be God do make and declare this my Testament and last Will in
manner & forme following That is to say
First and above all thinges I commend my Soule into the hands of Almightie God my Creator
stedfastly beleeveing to have remission and forgivenesse of all my Sinnes by and through the
alone meritts and meadiaccon of Jesus Christ my blessed Saviour and Redeemer and life
Everlasting with the Angells and Saints in heaven And my Bodie I commit to the Earth from
whence it came to be decently interred at the discreccon of my Executor
Item I give and bequeath unto my Sonne Henry Wood Fortie shillings of lawfull money of
England to bee paid unto him by myne Executor at the end of one moneth next after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my Sonne John Wood all the residue of my Goods and
Chattells and personall Estate whatsoever
And I make and ordaine my said Sonne John the Sole Executor of this my last will and
Testament And I hereby Revoke disanull and make void all former wills and Testaments by mee heretofore made
In witness whereof I the said Solomon Wood have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the day and yeere above written.
