In the Name of God Amen: the 27th Day of February in the year of our Lord god 1701
I William Woodruff of the the Parish of Eastry in the County of Kent Bricklayer Being very Sick and Weak of Body but of perfect mind and Memory Blessed be God for the same and knowing the Mortallity of all men Do Make and ordaine this my last will and Testament and pricipally and first of all I Give my Soul into the hands of God that Gave it and my Body I recommend to the earth to Be Buried in a Decent and Christian like manner att the Discretion of my Executor hereafter mentioned hoping att the Generrall Resurrection to Receive the Same againe and as for the worldly Goods wherewith it hath pleased Allmighty God to bestow upon me I give and bestow in this following manner and form.

Inprimis: I Give my Beloved Brother Matthew my two best Coats my best wastcoat and my best Britches and my best hat
and att the marriage or Decease of my wife I Give him my house that I now Dwell in

Item: I give my Brother Johns son William my second best hat
Item I Give my Dearly Beloved wife all the rest of my Goods and personal Estate so longe as she keeps herself a widdow
but att her marriage or Death I Give my Brother Matthew the house I now Dwell in

and I Do make my wife Sole Executor of all my Goods to possess and injoy so long as she keep a widdow:
In Wittness herunto I have sett my hand and Seal the Day and year above Written William Woodruff his mark

If it should please God that my Brother Matthew should Die before my wife should marry or Die then my will is that my Brother Johns son William shall have the said house att my wifes deacease or marriage which shall first happen:

Probate granted 11 Feb 1702/1703 to his wife Anna Adams also Woodruff
