In the name of God Amen I Richard Woodwar of the parish of Tilmanstone in the County of Kent Thatcher being well in Health and of good and sound and perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto Almighty God for it but Calling to mind the Mortality of my body and knowing that It is Appointed for all men once to Die I do this 22th Day of November In the yeare of our Lord God 1718 and in the fifth yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Britaine France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith etc. make and ordain this to be my Last will and Testament That is to Say
principally And first of all I give and recommend my Soul Into the handes of God that gave it me and my body I commite unto the Earth from whence it came to be buried In a Decent manner at the Discretion of my Executrixs Hereafter named. And as touching such world Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with In this Life I do give Devise and Despose of the same in the following manner and form

Imprimise I do give and bequeath to Jane Woodwar my Dearly beloved Wife the use and profites of all my Tenements and Lands and moveables and personall Estate wharsoever During all the term or time of her Natural Life

and Imediately after her Decease I do give and bequeath unto my Eldest Daughter Ann Hopley All my house and Land in the occupation of Robert White During the term of her Natural Life
She paying unto my Grand Daughter Mary Woodwar the full sume of five pounds of Lawfull mony of Great Britaine at her respective age of one and Twenty yeares
and Imediately after the Death of my Said Daughter Ann Hopley I do give and bequeath the Aforesaid House and Land unto her Daughter Jane Hopley and to her Son Richard Hopley and to their Heires for ever Equally to be Divided between them

Item I do give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Browne all my part of that house and Land In the occupation of Edward Carlton during the Term of her Natural Life
She paying unto my Daughter Jane Woodwar the full Sume of five pounds of good and Lawfull mony of Great Britane within Twelve monthes next after my Decease and my wives
and Imediatly after the Decease of my Said Daughter Mary Browne I do give and Bequeath the Afore Said part of the Said house and Land unto her two Sones William Browne and Richard Browne and to their heires for ever Equally to be Divided betweene them

Item I do give and bequeath unto my Daughter Jane Woodwar and to her Heires for ever all my house and Land formally purchased of the Hugbins
Item I do give and bequeath unto my Said Daughter Jane Woodwar and to her heires for ever the full Sume of five poundes of good and Lawfull mony of Great Britaine to be paid unto her or to her Assignes within Twelve monthes next after my Decease and Jane Woodwar my now wives Decease by my afore Said Daughter Mary Browne or her Assignes
and for Default of paying the Said Sime of five pounds of mony unto my Said Daughter Jane Woodwar or to her Assignes they may enter in and may Seize the Said Tenement and Land given to my Said Daughter Mary Browne and to keep it untill the sume of five pounds and the Charges of straining Is fully paid and Satisfied by the Rentes and profites thereof

Item I do give unto my Daughter Jane Woodwar and to her Assignes the Lease of the Tenement and Lands where I now live
Item I do give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Jane Woodwar all my moveables and personall Estate whatsoever or wheresoever it is to be possessed and Inioyed by her and her Heires for ever Imediately after my Decease and the Decease of her Mother

and I do Consititute make and ordaine my beloved Wife Jane Woodwar and my Loveing Daughter Jane Woodwar Joynt Executrixes of this my Last Will and Testament they paying all my Just Debtes furnerall Charges and the probate of this my Last Will and Testament
So utterly Desanulling and and Disowning all former Wills I do make and ordaine this to be my Last will and Testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal Dated the day and yeare first above written
Richard Woodwar by his Mark

Signed Sealed published and Declared by the Said Richard Woowar Testator as his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us Subscibers
