In the Name of God Amen the Thirty First Day of May One thousand seven hundred and ninety
I Ann Woodward of the Parish of Ash next Sandwich in the County of Kent Widow being
of Perfect mind and Memory thanks be given to God therefore calling to Mind the Mortality of my Body knowing that it is
appointed unto all Men Once to Die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say
Principally and First of all I give and recommend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty
God that gave it and my Body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in decent Christian Burial at the Discretion of my
Executors Nothing Doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the Almighty power of God and
as touching such Worldly Estate whatsoever and wheresoever wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this Life I Give
Demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form
First I give and Bequeath and appoint Lawrence Minter of the said Parish of Ash and Thomas Woodruff of the Parish and
Town of Deal in the said County Carpenter my Sole Executors jointly to Settle all my Affairs (that is to say)
to pay and receive all Debts Charges and Expences whatsoever to be raised and levied out of my Estate together with all my
Household Goods and Moveable Effects
also I do make and Ordain ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the Day and Year above written Ann Woodward X her Mark
