This is the Last Will and Testament of me Ann Woodruff of the Town and Port of Sandwich in the County of Kent Widow made this twenty sixth Day of December in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three I being (praised be God) of sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding

First I give and devise All and every my Freehold Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever with their and every of their Appurtenanaces Unto my Son Thomas Woodruff of Sandwich aforesaid Butcher and my Son in Law Israel Wellard of Deal in the said County of Kent Builder and their Heirs Upon this Special Trust and Confidence nevertheless that they the said Thomas Woodruff and Israel Wellard and the Survivor of them and the Heirs of such Survivor shall and do with all convenient speed after my Decease sell and dispose of the same either intire or in parcels unto any person or persons who shall be willing to become purchaser or purchasers thereof or of any part or parts thereof and his her and their Heirs and Assigns for the best price or prices which can be reasonably had or gotten for the same

and shall and do pay and divide all and every the Moneys arising by or from such Sale or Sales unto and equally amongst and between
the said Thomas Woodruff and my four other children

Ann Woodcock the Wife of Henry Woodcock of Sandwich aforesaid Baker
George Woodruff
and Margaret Wellard the Wife of the said Israel Wellard

to whom I give and bequeath the same Share and Share alike

And for the better advancing of the Sale or Sales of my said Freehold Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Real Estate I do hereby declare that the Receipt and Receipts of my said Son Thomas Woodruff and my said Son in Law Israel Wellard and of the Survivor of them and of the Heirs of such Survivor under their or his Hands or Hand shall from Time to Time be a good and sufficient Discharge and good and sufficient Discharges both at Law and in Equity to the purchaser or purchasers thereof and every or any part thereof respectively and his her and their Heirs Executors Adminstrators and Assigns for so much of the said purchase Money for which such Receipt or Receipts shall be given
And that after such Reciept or Receipts shall be so given such purchaser and purchasers and his her and their Heirs Executors Adminstrators and Assigns shall be absolutely acquitted and discharged of and from such purchase Money and every part thereof and he she they or any of them shall not afterwards be answerable or accountable for any Loss Misapplication or Nonappplication of such purchase Money or any part or parts thereof

Also I give and bequeath All my Wearing Apparel unto my said two Daughters Ann Woodcock and Margaret Wellard equally between them
Also I give and bequeath All such Leases Agreements for Leases Term and Terms of Years to come And Unexpired and all other my Right Title and Interest of and in the Farm Lands Tenements and Hereditaments which I now or at the Time of my Decease may hold of ___ Toomer Esquire Mrs Jemema Brydges and the Heirs of Samuel Barber deceased respectively or of any other persons or persons whomsoever unto my said son George Woodruff

And as to all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Goods Chattels Household Furniture Implements of Household Household Linnen plate China Ready Moneys and Moneys due to me on Mortgages Bonds Bills Notes or otherwise and all and singular other my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever not hereinbefore disposed of (after and Subject to the payment of my Just Debts Funeral Expenses the Costs of proving this my last Will and Testament and other incident charges) I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my said five Children Thomas Woodruff Henry Woodruff Ann Woodcock George Woodruff and Margaret Wellard equally to be divided between them Share and Share alike

And Lastly I do hereby revoke annul and make void all former Wills and Testaments by me made and of this my last Will and Testament do make constitute and appoint my said Son Thomas Woodruff and my said Son in Law Israel Wellard Executors

In Witness whereof I the said Ann Woodruff the Testatrix to the first Sheet of this my last Will and Testament (in two Sheets of paper contained) have set my Hand and to ths second and last Sheet thereof have set and affixed my Hand and Seal the Day and Year first above written

Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Ann Woodruff the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our Names as Witnesses

Thomas Woodruff the Son and Israel Willard the Executors named in this Will were duly Sworn as usual
And that the Goods Chattels and Credits do not amount in Value to the Sum of One thousand and five hundred pounds.
