Item I give & bequeath unto Thomas Grenesfield Clarke Curate of Lydd fowre pounds [£4] to be paide
unto him wthin one monthe next after my decease
Item I give unto the Churche of Lydd Fiftye Shillinges to be bestowed one [on] the Burbage
thereof for a decent cushion & clothe for the same accordinge to the discretion of the said Thomas Grenesfield
Item I give unto the poore of the parishe of Lydd Fortye shillinges to be bestowed accordinge to the
discretion of my Executrix at or upon my Funerall
Item I give unto Mary Waller Widowe my Sister Fiftye pounds to be paide unto her wthin six monthes next after my decease
Item I give unto my daughter Sarah three hundred pounds to be paide unto her at the
age of eighteene yeares or at the daye of mariage wch shall come first
My mynde & will is that the saide three hundred pounds bequeathed unto her shalbe put into the hands of William Barrishe of Rye
Tanner my kinsman untill the time aforesaid & he to paye yearely for the use of the same eighteene
pounds unto my daughter Sarah for and towards her education & to put in sufficient Securitye to my Executrix for the principall as for the use
Item I give unto my daughter Rose three hundred pounds to be paide unto her at the age of eighteene
yeares or at the daye of mariage wch shall come first
and my mynde & will is that the saide three hundred pounds bequeathed unto her shalbe put into the hands of Thomas Foord my Kinsman
untill the time aforesaid & he to paye yearely for the use of the same eighteene pounds unto my daughter Rose for
and towards her education & to put in sufficient Securitye to my Executrix for the principall as for the use
Item I give unto my Sonne John three hundred and Fifty pounds to be paide unto him at the age of eighteene yeares and my mynde & will is that the saide three hundred and Fifty pounds bequeathed unto him shalbe put into the hands of Richard Haffinden of Tenterden my Brother in Lawe untill the time aforesaid & he to paye yearely for the use of the same twenty three pounds unto my Sonne John for and towards his education & to put in sufficient Securitye to my Executrix for the principall as for the use
And my mynde and Will is that if any of my Saide children shall dye that such children or the child as shall Survive shall enoiye [enjoy] not only the principall at the ages as aforesaide but all use the use before satisfied for and towards the education of such of them as shall live & use if any shall dye before the times that their severall porcions should be paide unto them that such porcions shall be [page damage] ..yne unto them that survive accordinge to the true intent and meaning of this my Will & Testament
All the rest of my goods Cattells chattells household stuffe plate readye moneyes & what other thinge or thinges soever not given & bequeathed I give & bequeath unto Margaret my Wife whome I make nominate & appoint to be the sole executrix of this my last will & Testament she truly payinge & dischargine all my debts dutyes legacyes & Funerall expences
And I devise the foresaide William Bourishe Thomas Forde & Richard Haffinden to helpe & assyt
my Wife my Executrix wth their best advise for & towardes the performannce of this my last Will & Testament

Lydd 1632. Memorandum
That uppon the 25th daye of Februarye John Wyatt willed that this followinge should be added as a codicill to his will (that is to saye)
That his minde & will is that if Margaret his wife should be wth child & that it should live that then that child should enoiye [enjoy] the whole portion of three hundred & Fiftie pounds wch in his saide will was given & bequeathed unto his sonne John deceased in manner & forme as it is therein expressed unto the saide John, but if live not then to remayne to his children or childe Survivinge as is declared fourtherlie [formerly?] in the saide will
This he declared in the prsence of his wife his executrix before us whose hands and seal published
