In the Name of God Amen the eighth day of August in the year of our Lord God One Thousand seven Hundred and Forty four
I James Yeo a pensioner in his Majesty’s Royal Hospital for Seamen at Greenwich being very sick and weak in Body but of perfect Mind and Memory thanks be to God for the same therefore calling to Mind the Mortality of my Body do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament And as touching my Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this Life I give devise and dispose of the same in the manner and form following Vizt.

I give and bequeath unto my Mother Mary Sykes whom I constitute make and ordain my only and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament All and singular my Lands Messuages Tenements Money Plate Household Goods and Moveables
with whatever Effects is due to me by the Will of my late Brother in Law Captain Norton by her to be freely possess’d and enjoyed

And I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former Testaments Wills and Legacys Bequests and Executors by me in anyways before this time named willed and bequeathed Ratifying and confirming this and no others to be my last Will and Testament
